Zhong Lingling was puzzled but still followed Wang Xueqin into the bedroom.
As soon as Zhong Lingling entered, Wang Xueqin locked the door behind her.
"Auntie, could you tell me which fragrances you would like me to sort?" Zhong Lingling still remembered Wang Xueqin's instruction not to call her aunt in private.
So privately, she had switched from calling her aunt to auntie.
"Sit down, let's talk once you're seated!" Wang Xueqin pointed towards the sofa earnestly.
Zhong Lingling sat on the sofa, and Wang Xueqin sat down beside her.
"Fragrances?" Zhong Lingling looked around, but saw no fragrances.
Suddenly, she sensed something odd about Wang Xueqin. "Auntie, are you feeling unwell? Or is there something you want to say to me?"
"Lingling, Auntie knows you are a good girl. There's something I beg of you, please, you must help Auntie!" Wang Xueqin suddenly clung to Zhong Lingling's arm.
Zhong Lingling stared at Wang Xueqin in shock.
