Ye Zao naturally couldn't avoid seeing Fourth Master.
It wasn't about rules or anything. The two of them were arguing, fighting for right and wrong.
Fourth Master coming was like taking a big step back.
Ye Zao was a smart woman; it was impossible not to receive him.
But to simply welcome him would leave her feeling unsatisfied, so meeting him was inevitable, yet the matter couldn't be resolved so easily.
Thus, Ye Zao unhurriedly changed her clothes, did her hair and makeup, then slowly emerged outside.
Fourth Master also couldn't sit still anymore and got up to leave.
And so he saw Ye Zao in the courtyard.
Ye Zao was dressed in an orange-red embroidered Qipao adorned with large roses. Her naturally alluring fox-like eyes were even more captivating.
Standing under the pomegranate tree, her face devoid of a smile, she gracefully bowed: "I greet His Majesty. I was unaware of your presence earlier, please forgive my rudeness."
