"What's wrong?" Jing Min asked as she looked at him after he hung up the phone.
Zhang Jundian seemed to be suppressing some emotion. He sighed and said, "Mom fainted."
Upon hearing this, a flicker of surprise and guilt flashed in Jing Min's eyes: "Did she faint because of me?"
"Don't overthink it. Her health has been declining in recent years. This isn't the first time she's fainted."
Zhang Jundian said.
"Is she in the hospital? I'll go with you to see her."
"I'll go. You stay home and rest well."
"Alright." Jing Min pondered for a moment and said.
If Mrs. Zhang fainted because of her, wouldn't her presence make her even more upset?
"I might stay at the hospital tonight with her, so don't wait for me to sleep." Zhang Jundian said.
Then he reached out, gently touched Jing Min's belly, and his eyes were filled with endless tenderness: "For the baby's sake, don't overthink things."
