"Really?"
Hearing Feng Lu's doubtful tone, Chen Fei knew she was out of her league. A slight smile touched his lips as he pointed to a corner of a nearby windowsill and whispered, "See that?"
"What?" Feng Lu naturally didn't understand the cryptic gesture and asked with a puzzled expression.
"The ants," Chen Fei said with a wide smile. "The ones on the windowsill... Would you waste your time worrying about what they could do to you?"
"Of course not..." Feng Lu blurted out without a second thought. However, before she could finish the sentence, her eyes suddenly widened. She stared at Chen Fei, who was once again focused on tackling the steak on his plate. After a long moment of stunned silence, she suddenly burst into giggles.
