Lan Yue glared fiercely at Qin Lin, whose gaze was wandering. "Shut your damn eyes right now. If you dare to look again, I'll gouge them out!"

Struck by Lan Yue's glare, Qin Lin immediately felt awkward.
"How did you get involved with the Skeleton Club?" After a pause, Lan Yue looked at Qin Lin with suspicion. "You're a real trouble magnet. We haven't had as much trouble in all our missions over the last few months combined as we've had since meeting you!"
"This is not my fault at all. I'm innocent," Qin Lin shrugged innocently. "That Alpha Wolf from the Liangshan Five Wolves had joined the Skeleton Club, but he was only a junior member."
"However, he wasn't directly under the man in the trench coat from earlier. He must have been under another Grandmaster in the Skeleton Club, which is why that man only came to have a word with me and had no intention of killing me."
