"I thought you were so lost in paradise you weren't coming out," Lan Yue said, getting into the passenger seat and giving Qin Lin a teasing look.
"They must be after me."
Qin Lin's eyes followed the seatbelt as it settled across Lan Yue's chest, tracing the deep valley it created. "Otherwise," he said, "there'd be no reason to follow me all the way to Lin Qingyue's villa."
"Since you've deduced they're targeting you, can you guess who they are?"
"I don't know."
Qin Lin shook his head. "It could be the mysterious forces behind the Alpha Wolf you mentioned. Or it could be people sent by the Yanjing Han Family. After all, even though Han Ling brought it on himself, I was the one who ultimately forced him to his death."
"Or it could be other enemies."
Lan Yue chuckled. "Heh. You really do have a lot of enemies!"
"That's not something I can control," Qin Lin said with an awkward shrug.
