It was Song Li and his brother, Song Tao.
"What do you two think you're doing, sneaking over here?" Fatty Qi brandished a kitchen knife threateningly. "Spill it! Did Alpha Wolf send you to scout the place? Are you planning to break into the villa tonight to assassinate my Brother Qin!?"
"No, we came on our own. Alpha Wolf didn't send us," Song Li quickly replied, shaking his head. "Alpha Wolf doesn't know we're here. That's the honest-to-God truth."
"Yeah, right. You're talking complete nonsense," Fatty Qi scoffed. "You're asking for it!"
To scare Song Li into telling the truth, he made a show of bringing the knife down on him.
WHOOSH! BANG!
An amusing scene unfolded. A flash of blue light flared, and a shimmering barrier intercepted the kitchen knife aimed at Song Li.
"What the heck is going on?" Fatty Qi exclaimed. "Brother Qin, isn't that your Jade Pendant? Why did you give one to him?"
