Out of concern for passenger safety, the taxi driver, aware that he was feeling unwell, insisted that Luo Xiu and Su Shanyue get out of the car. Luo Xiu strolled leisurely by the roadside, planning to walk Su Shanyue home.
Su Shanyue's cheeks were flushed. She stole glances at Luo Xiu from time to time, then swiftly looked away, trying to appear nonchalant. For some reason, my heart is racing… THUMP-THUMP… It feels like a deer is running wild in my chest.
"Luo Xiu, do you know the way home?"
Luo Xiu nodded and pointed ahead. "Turn right at the crossroads up there, then just keep walking straight and we'll be there."
"Oh," Su Shanyue responded softly, then asked, "Are we just going to keep walking like this?"
Luo Xiu chuckled. "What else?"
Su Shanyue smiled sweetly. "Then let's keep walking."
