"How much I earn and where I choose to eat is none of your business," Xu Qianqing said, glancing at Liu Qiao. Uninterested in arguing, she turned to enter.
"Hold on!"
Liu Qiao quickly stepped forward, blocking Xu Qianqing and Luo Xiu. She smiled. "I'm very sorry, but if you're here to dine, then it actually does concern me."
Xu Qianqing's expression changed slightly. "What do you mean?"
Liu Qiao crossed her arms, looking at Xu Qianqing with disdain. As if deliberately flaunting, she said, "I'm the assistant manager here now." Then she glanced at the young man in the sharp suit beside her and announced proudly, "This gentleman is the general manager of the restaurant, Li Zhen. He's also my fiancé."
Xu Qianqing, however, simply offered a flat "Oh" and grabbed Luo Xiu's arm, ready to enter, only to be blocked by Liu Qiao again.
