The people from all three sides soon realized something was wrong.
The envoy from Bai Tou Country had died; their army, now without Bai Tou Country's command, was quickly defeated and scattered in a rout after being slaughtered. The forces led by Bear Country and Eagle Country people realized after some fighting that there might have been a misunderstanding and promptly ceased fire.
After meeting, the people from both countries began a joint investigation.
This investigation revealed the corpse of the Bai Tou Country person and, after capturing and interrogating some of the fleeing soldiers, they still couldn't clarify the situation. The only thing they knew was that they had killed all the Hua Country workers at the construction site.
Everyone was not foolish; they quickly came to a shocking conclusion that Bai Tou Country had been scheming in secret, hoping to cause a misunderstanding and start a war with Hua Country.
They couldn't let this happen!
