The early morning sun cast a golden glow over the Whitmore estate as Victor's sleek black car pulled up to the grand entrance. William, his silent chauffeur, manoeuvred the vehicle with practised ease, coming to a smooth stop at the base of the sweeping stairs.
Victor adjusted his tie, his expression composed and professional. Today was an important step in solidifying his business relationship with the Whitmores, and he couldn't afford any missteps. As he prepared to exit the car, he caught sight of Emily Whitmore descending the stairs, her elegant figure silhouetted against the imposing facade of the mansion.
