Chapter 120 - Rude Awakening

The dinner was nice, but Cameron's intentions were clear. Anyone with a brain would know what he wanted. Ironically, all I could think about was Dimitri and Reign. One of them was the father of Aodhan, and now, my baby is growing in my belly. I didn't want anyone but both of them. Sure, Cameron was a very handsome young man, but I don't feel like having another man's cock shoved up in me with my son in there.

I decided to talk at home; it was a beautiful, warm night.

 Ring. Ring. Ring.

"Ariel, how's it going? Everything okay?" I answered.

"Well, there are two men here, Dimitri and Reign, and they said they needed to talk to you about Aodhan?" Ariel said.

I felt my heart sink to my stomach. I froze, the tightness in my throat growing, making it more and more difficult to breathe. My lips began to tingle, a numbness filling me. Without thought, I started sprinting home.

"How long have they been there?" I panted.

"They just got here. That's why I called," she replied, "I let them out back on your porch so they didn't have to sit out front, but they were still outside. I'm not letting them in. How long until you're done with dinner?"

On that last note, my hand seized the handle of my front door, pushing it free from its frame. Ariel stood there with the phone to her ear, looking back and forth.

"Did you run here?" she asked.

Composing myself, "They haven't spoken with Aodhan, right?

 "No," she shook her head.

"Will you take Aodhan and grab some dinner?" I asked.

"Yeah," she walked over and pecked me on the cheek. You know I'm here if you want to talk."

 "I know," I agreed.

Once she and my son were gone, I walked back to see them drinking one of my bottles of 60-year-old Scotch while watching the sunset.

"Tell us we 're wrong," Dimitri spoke while removing his sunglasses.

 "About what?" I diverted.

"Aodhan," Reign added, "Is he mine?"

 "Is he mine?" Dimitri repeated.

How the Hell did they find out? The dark voice slithered in my head.

 "No," I lied.

"You know, we never thought you could be like this. You're worse than we thought," Dimitri sighed.

"Who the Hell do you think you both are?!" I barked, "Placing my hand firmly on my hips, "Coming to my home and claiming my son who isn't yours!"

"So he is your son!" Reign chimed.

 I froze. Shit!

"I don't have to answer any of your questions," I deflected.

"Bullshit, Ivy!" Reign growled while on approach. He seized my wrists and pulled me in closer, "This isn't you."

"You don't know who I am," I wickedly smirked.

Reign shook his head with a scoff before kissing me. My eyes widened in shock. I shoved him back by his shoulders.

"You think that'll work?" I hissed while wiping my mouth. You won't find any answers you like here. Aodhan isn't yours; he's mine! He's my baby."

 "Who's his father?" Dimitri questioned.

"I don't have to tell you anything!" I repeated, "For all you know, he could be Zeus's."

The look on Diitri's face turned thunderously angry. He grabbed me and pushed me against the side of my house, glaring into my soul.

"Stop lying, Ivy!" Dimitri spat before kissing me the way Reign had moments ago.

The only thing was, I wasn't lying. Sure, I said that to make them mad, but there was always the possibility he could be Zeus's. The thought kept me awake sometimes at night.

"Get off of her!" I heard a female voice holler.

I opened my eyes to see Ariel shoving Dimitri off of me with one hand while holding Aodhan's hand in the other.

"Mom, who are they?" Aodhan asked.

Both Reign and Dimitri stopped and looked down at Aodhan. He looked like both of them. I know it sounds wild, but he does.

"They're no one, honey," I sighed while hugging him.

"Hey, little guy, do you know who your father is?" Dmitri asked, kneeling with a smile.

 "Stop!" I hissed.

 "No," he answered.

"Ariel, please take Aodhan inside," I snapped.

 Ariel did as I asked.

"What the Hell do you think you're doing?!" I shouted, "Get out!"

"No, we're not leaving until we get our answer. We have the right to know if he's ours!" Reign responded.

Panting in frustration, I ran my fingers through my hair. They were in for a rude awakening if they thought they could bully me.

"If I find out you try taking his DNA without my consent, the cops won't even find you."
