Chapter 576 - INIIDF-Chapter 536 A Classic of Classics

On the streets of Providence Kingdom's city, a disturbance suddenly broke out.

The crowds on the street acted as though they had encountered something terrifying, hurriedly scattering to both sides. Those unable to get away in time shoved into one another, stumbling to the ground with frightened expressions.

"JOJO… It's the JoJo Pirates…"

"Why did they suddenly appear here?"

"I heard they provoked that terrifying Whitebeard. They're actually still alive?!"

"Shh! Are you insane? Keep your voice down in case they hear you…"

"I don't know whether Whitebeard can deal with them, but if we anger those two, we're definitely dead…"

Most people were utterly wary of the man and woman casually strolling down the street as though they were simply out shopping.

The two pirates had absolutely no intention of hiding their identities, so many passersby quickly recognized them. After all, just over a month ago, they had shared the front-page headlines alongside the legendary Whitebeard and caused an enormous sensation.

And even without that news, these two were already infamous Great Pirates with combined bounties exceeding 700 million Belly!

"They look like they're just passing through. Pretend we don't recognize them…"

"Whatever you do, don't provoke them…"

"Please let them leave quickly…"

Many ordinary residents silently prayed in their hearts. Among the crowd were also a few skilled bounty hunters, but after carefully weighing their own abilities against the value of a 400 million and 300 million Belly pirate duo, they wisely chose to stay quiet.

"400 million?"

Liam looked genuinely shocked when he heard that.

"I fought Whitebeard head-on and even made the front page, yet my bounty didn't go up?" Inside a roadside clothing store, Liam turned to Robin and complained, "The Marines are looking down on me. I'm offended."

Robin was busy picking out clothes for the two of them and didn't even raise her head.

"Isn't it a good thing if your bounty didn't increase?"

The clothing store owner hid behind the counter pretending not to recognize them, though his pale face and trembling hands gave him away. He kept wiping sweat from his forehead with a handkerchief that was already soaked through.

The female clerk, on the other hand, remained surprisingly calm. She enthusiastically recommended matching outfits to Jolyne Cujoh while secretly sneaking glances at Giorno.

Even if he was a pirate, he was seriously handsome…

And Jolyne Cujoh was gorgeous too. They looked so perfect together…

Ahhh!!!

The salesgirl screamed internally and decided that tonight she would reward herself by writing another steamy Xu×Qiao fanfic. She had been shipping this pair ever since the swordsman tournament days.

After all, although they were pirates, she had never heard of them committing many truly wicked acts, so fangirling over this pirate couple brought her absolutely no guilt whatsoever.

Even after Liam and Robin finished buying clothes and left, she remained standing there in a daze, lost in fantasy…

Buying clothes had only been a side stop. Liam and Robin soon headed straight toward a restaurant.

Based entirely on Liam's personal preferences, the two of them, as well as B.I.B., had specifically asked around to find out which restaurants tended to attract suspicious pirates, bounty hunters, underground figures, and similar sorts of people.

Robin held her forehead speechlessly.

Was he seriously looking for some post-meal exercise?

Sweating nervously, a passerby pointed them in the right direction, and Liam and Robin quickly found the place,

Sea Manliness Restaurant.

A truly plain and straightforward name.

The moment the two entered the restaurant, the once lively dining hall filled with the aroma of food rapidly fell silent.

One after another, diners turned to look toward them.

Pirates, bounty hunters, thugs, petty criminals…

Standing at the entrance, Liam's gaze swept across the pairs of eyes inside the restaurant, most of whom clearly weren't good people. While assessing what sort of crowd they were, he nodded in satisfaction.

"You're not mistaken. I'm Giorno Giovanna."

Liam spun the Golden Iron Rod casually in one hand and laughed loudly:

"Surely not every single one of you is a coward? Four hundred million Belly, you know. Hunters could make a fortune, and small-timers could become famous by stepping on my corpse."

Silence filled the room.

Many people quickly withdrew their gazes and lowered their heads to continue eating.

A few narrowed their eyes coldly at him, and at the calm-faced woman beside him, Pirate Captain Jolyne Cujoh, worth 300 million Belly.

After receiving no response for a long while, Liam clicked his tongue.

"So they're all cowards? Boring."

"Valuing your life is a good thing," Robin remarked.

The two found an empty table and sat down while Robin snapped her fingers toward the group of hesitant waiters awkwardly pushing the task onto one another.

Liam casually dropped the Golden Iron Rod beside the table with a loud clang, instantly drawing the attention of many people in the restaurant.

Back during the swordsman tournament, Giorno's iron rod definitely hadn't looked like this.

Had it been reforged?

Judging from the sound alone, it was incredibly heavy…

One unlucky waiter approached with a pale face. Accidentally bumping into the Golden Iron Rod on the table, he hurriedly tried to move it aside, only to cry out in surprise.

He grabbed the end extending past the table,

But he couldn't lift it at all.

What an incredible weapon…

In a corner of the restaurant, a bronze-skinned muscular man wearing a cactus-like hat flashed a greedy look in his narrow eyes.

Soon, lavish dishes were brought out one after another. Amid the increasingly strange atmosphere inside the restaurant, the two continued chatting and eating as though nothing were wrong.

Robin ate elegantly, as always.

Liam, on the other hand, devoured food like a dragon swallowing prey, absolutely demolishing everything in sight.

Right when they seemed the most relaxed and careless to outside observers, a streak of cold light shot forth like lightning.

Whiz!

A sharp sword flew at incredible speed from a corner of the restaurant, thrusting directly toward Liam's temple while he had his head turned, talking to Robin.

Neither of them appeared to notice the approaching danger.

Got him!

The bronze-skinned muscular man with the cactus hat felt ecstatic.

Invisible black Stand energy surged around Liam's body. From within it, a mechanical arm covered in flame-like patterns extended outward. Two armored fingers casually pinched the incoming blade.

The icy sword tip stopped mere centimeters from Liam's temple.

B.I.B. examined it briefly.

The sword's quality really wasn't bad.

Then it casually crushed the blade into several broken pieces.

Sharp gasps echoed throughout the restaurant one after another.

Hearing them, Liam suddenly burst out laughing.

"Pfft, hahahaha!"

He shook his head while laughing.

"This is such a classic. A total classic among classics…"

Robin looked at him in confusion.

Was there really something that funny?

"Raider Jean…"

"It's that 'Raider' Jean?!"

"Jean Ango, the dangerous sniper bounty hunter who likes collecting pirates' weapons and using swords as throwing ammunition…"

"He actually attacked Giorno…"

"That sword he threw was insanely fast! But even more unbelievable is Giorno, how did he stop it?!"

"The sword shattered…"

Another wave of whispers spread through the restaurant. Robin gathered quite a bit of information from the murmurs, though Liam only laughed harder, leaving her completely baffled.

Unable to hold back her curiosity, she asked:

"What exactly is so funny?"

"A classic among classics among classics…" Liam entertained himself happily. "What's funny is that someone actually came looking for trouble."

Together, he and Robin turned toward the direction from which the sword had been thrown.

There stood the powerful bronze-skinned muscular man with the cactus-like hat, staring blankly at them.

It seemed that Raider Jean still couldn't process what had just happened. His supposedly guaranteed killing strike had been blocked by some invisible force…

And the famous blade he had stolen had suddenly shattered into pieces.

"You want this thing?" Liam glanced toward the Golden Iron Rod beside the table.

Jean Ango suddenly saw, in horror, the Golden Iron Rod floating up into the air by itself despite nobody touching it. It lazily spun in the air once before the gilded tip pointed directly at him.

Not good!!

The bounty hunter Raider Jean shoved tables and chairs aside, sending dishes flying everywhere as he leapt toward the restaurant window,

But it was already too late.

Liam flicked a finger.

Under magnetic control, the Golden Iron Rod transformed into a streak of golden light in the eyes of everyone in the restaurant.

Then came only a soft pfft.

When people looked again toward the window, Raider Jean had already been pierced through the heart and pinned to the frame.

"Let's go."

Under the stunned gazes of everyone in the restaurant, Jolyne Cujoh calmly rose from the table.

"We still haven't bought the rest of our supplies."

The table was piled high with empty bowls like a mountain.

Giorno stood and followed after his female captain with a grin.

"Didn't you ask before whether there were any Dwarf Races? I just overheard something interesting…"

After the two left the restaurant, everyone was just about to breathe a sigh of relief when,

With a shnk, the Golden Iron Rod suddenly pulled itself free from Jean Ango's corpse. The bloodstained gilded tip casually wiped itself against his clothes before shooting out the window.

In the distance, it seemed to land back in Giorno's hand as the two walked farther and farther away from sight…

"They're heading in that direction…"

Someone swallowed nervously.

"Don't tell me they're going to the Royal Palace?!"

Another person muttered in shock:

"Where exactly did these lunatics even come from…?"
