It was already late at night, but the streets of San Francisco were still bustling with life.

Arthur was hidden above the clouds, stealthily lurking; he was ready to enjoy a great show!

The intel about Eddie Brock was deliberately leaked to Drake. It was a conscious, intentional act of betrayal! His whole plan was to see what interesting things would happen when Drake sent someone to capture him.

And to watch such a grand show, he needed to find the perfect viewing platform. What place could be more suitable than the sky?

So, after leaving the Life Foundation, Arthur had been hiding above the clouds, quietly waiting...

Then, he finally saw Riot, the bald-headed guy from the Life Foundation! He was heading straight for his target: Schuler Apartments, Eddie Brock.

"It's about to start!"

Arthur pulled out some popcorn from the Disassemble Space, and the Eye of Horus darted straight into Brock's apartment.

Riot knocked on the door… walked in, raised his weapon… Brock raised his hands…

Arthur munched on his popcorn, almost forgetting to swallow. "Hit him already… What's the point of raising your hands?"

As a spectator, Arthur really hoped that Brock, as the protagonist, could act a bit more ruthlessly and decisively.

Unfortunately, this coward clearly had no idea what "ruthless and decisive" meant.

It wasn't until an indescribable black mass shot out of his hand, grabbed one guy, and slammed him into the ceiling, that things finally kicked into gear. Although throughout the fight, both Brock and Arthur played similar roles, they were spectators!

The real performers were Riot and his men… and the Venom inside Brock.

But even so, the fight was still deeply satisfying to watch!

After a short, fast, and brutal clash in the apartment, Brock jumped out the window to escape. The symbiote's powers allowed him to cling to walls like Spider-Man, and boosted his physical abilities significantly.

Strength, speed, agility, everything had been dramatically enhanced.

And the Symbiote wasn't just tough and strong, it could even stretch out to form a protective layer, enough to withstand bullets.

"If more of these things existed, they'd be a serious problem," Arthur mused, stroking his chin. In terms of combat instincts and versatile attacks, they really are amazing warriors. One is manageable, but if there were hundreds of thousands… it'd be a disaster!"

Arthur sighed softly.

Then he saw Brock arrive in the alley behind the apartment.

He looked at his reflection in the car window, and saw his transformation for the first time. He said something, but Arthur couldn't hear it.

He was too far away.

The Eye of Horus wasn't Verus's Ear, Arthur suddenly felt he should really take the time to learn lip reading. How much fun was he missing out on without it?

A drone suddenly swooped in, interrupting Brock's self-reflection. It dropped a bomb, instantly reminding him of the cold, hard truth.

And then… the chase began.

A duel between a motorcycle and cars. This time, Arthur's vantage point really paid off.

With a god's-eye view, he watched everything clearly, every twist and turn, every close call.

Again, he was utterly satisfied.

And finally, the climax of the chase: Brock had nearly shaken off all pursuers, but unfortunately, the cunning Riot was still one step ahead.

He parked in the perfect spot, and slammed straight into Brock's motorcycle, flipping it over!

"Mm. Just as expected, even a veteran driver crashes now and then."

Arthur looked down at his empty tub of popcorn.

He had finished it.

Then he looked at Brock, completely wrecked, hardly looking human anymore. His leg was fractured, he lay on the ground, completely unable to move.

Riot (Drake) stepped down from the car. He seemed satisfied, even admiring the miserable state of his prey.

Arthur glanced at the empty popcorn tub in his hand. He figured it was time to go down and settle a score.

This bald guy had previously bragged about showing Arthur how powerful he was, well, now it was Arthur's turn to show him what power really looked like.

He was just about to act when suddenly, the motionless Brock, lying on the ground, suddenly had black matter surge across his body. In an instant, that black stuff bound Riot in place.

The next second, Brock rose to his feet in an utterly impossible way.

And then, with astonishing speed, he transformed into a black, fanged monster with a half-meter-long tongue!

"Woooah!" Arthur exclaimed in admiration, "That transformation's even cooler than Kamen Superman!"

But what Venom did next made Arthur cringe in disbelief.

This guy used his giant tongue to lick Riot's face. Riot's scream was so shrill, Arthur actually wondered whether he'd wet himself in the process.

Then suddenly, a gunshot rang out! Out of nowhere, a man had appeared behind Venom and, with a firm resolve, pulled the trigger.

Venom, ever the fickle type, immediately threw Riot aside, and bit off the shooter's head in one chomp.

The next second, his body shot forward and he bolted at full speed, just randomly picking a direction and sprinting.

Only, while running, he clearly wasn't watching where he was going. He flattened every car in his path into scrap metal.

At this point, Arthur figured the scene had basically played itself out.

His body dropped silently from midair, and as he descended, he had already donned his battle gear.

He landed right in front of Riot.

Riot had been thrown onto the roof of a car, in a state quite similar to how Brock looked earlier, completely immobilized, wracked with pain, as though his insides were about to relocate themselves.

When he saw Arthur approaching, his face was full of confusion.

Arthur just grinned. But hidden beneath his deep black mask, Riot couldn't see the expression.

Not that it mattered.

Because in the very next second, Riot lost all consciousness, Arthur had directly sucked him into the Disassemble Space.

He didn't bother knocking him out first. Just poof, instantly contained.

Arthur was curious what shape he'd be in once he came out.

Then, he followed in the direction of the Eye of Horus, chasing after Brock and Venom.

At that moment, Venom was engaged in what could only be called a unique form of street art on the streets of San Francisco.

"The origin stories of superheroes or supervillains often begin with street performance art," Arthur mused.

He suddenly remembered a long-ago encounter with the Hulk. God only knows, he'd just gone out for a meal that day, so why had he ended up in a battle with the Hulk… and that idiot?

"Ah… some memories are best left unremembered."

Arthur kept pursuing from the sky, until Venom leapt into the water and, with extreme speed, swam to a small island.

Only then did Arthur slowly descend from above.

It was time for him to make his entrance.
