Elsewhere on the battlefield, Hidan was having his own personal battle. His opponent was none other than Gecko Moria, a famous Pirate and one of the Shichibukai.
Although he was fighting him, Hidan was currently taking on what looked like zombified Marines. He didn't know how, but the Marines he had killed earlier had gotten back up and attacked him; and Hidan suspected it was Moria's doing.
Although these zombies were unstoppable, Hidan only needed to cut them into tiny pieces with his triple-bladed scythe. The good thing was that the living Marines moved away and watched the fight from a safer distance.
After taking care of the Zombies, Hidan lunged at his opponent. Moria was only a few feet away from him, standing with a carefree smile.
In the blink of an eye, Hidan appeared in front of Moria, his scythe ready to slash him, but the cut never came; Something stepped forward and met him. That "something" was Moria's very own shadow, which rose up as if it were a real person.
This is the power of Moria's Akuma No Mi: the [Kage Kage No Mi]; a Paramecia Akuma No Mi, which allows him to manifest and control shadows as well as grant them a tangible, physical form, making him a Kage no Shihaisha.
Since it was a shadow, it was obviously immune to physical or slashing attacks; therefore, it worked very well as a shield.
Moria's shadow then quickly attempted to attack Hidan with its right fist, but he quickly evaded it.
-"So you have a power over shadows, huh?"- Hidan spoke to Moria with a smile after appearing a few meters in front of him. -"Well, that won't help you! This isn't the first time I've faced someone like that! You're a sacrifice to the great Shinigami-sama!"-
Hidan then lunged at Moria again with a wide, bloodthirsty grin.
-"Kishishishishishi!"- Moria laughed grotesquely at Hidan's words as his shadow stood defensively in front of him. -"Come and try it! [Brick Bat]!"-
His shadow then transformed into a colony of bats, which quickly flew menacingly toward Hidan.
Hidan skillfully dodged any bats that tried to bite him. He knew that slashing them would be completely useless, so he decided to evade them as he made his way to Moria.
-"Your attacks are useless!"- Hidan yelled at Moria with a crazed laugh as he stood before him with his scythe ready to use. -"Now die for Shinigami-sama!"-
Moria prepared to evade the attack. -"[Kagemusha]!"-
Then Moria suddenly disappeared, replaced by his shadow. Hidan then cut the shadow in two, having no effect like the other time.
The shadow then attacked again. Taking advantage of its size, the shadow raised its right arm to perform a downward strike toward Hidan, while Hidan sensed Moria was making his move from behind; he didn't know what it was, but he believed it had to do with his shadow.
-"Tck. You sure are slippery,"-
Hidan commented angrily as he evaded the shadow's blow, which embedded itself in the ground. His sudden movement prevented Moria from realizing what he was going to do.
-"Oh well..."- Hidan gave Moria a maniacal grin. -"That's what I get for toying with my opponent."-
Then he disappeared. He moved with blinding speed, which left Moria baffled.
-"Gah!"-
Suddenly, Moria cried out in pain as a deep cut hit his stomach. He hadn't seen who did it, but it wasn't hard to guess who his current opponent was.
-"A little blood..."- Hidan said from behind Moria, causing him to turn around to look at him. -"That's all I need..."-
Hidan smiled sadistically at him while Moria glared at him.
Moria's eyes then widened as he witnessed Hidan's skin turn black with white markings that made him look like a skeleton. Hidan then used the blood on the top blade of his scythe to draw a large symbol on the ground, a circle with a triangle in the middle.
With a big smile, Hidan stood in the middle of the symbol.
Moria didn't know what Hidan had done, but he didn't stop him. He turned his shadow back into a colony of bats, which swooped down on their enemy.
Hidan didn't even move. The bats then viciously bit him on his arms, legs, and torso.
But the next thing that happened surprised Moria...
-"Gyaaa!"-
Moria screamed in agony as a sharp pain seized his body. A stabbing pain surged through his arms, legs, and torso. When he looked, he could see small bite-like wounds that were beginning to bleed.
-"Wh-What?"- Moria muttered in shock at how he was suddenly injured. -"How did this happen?!"-
-"You're doomed..."-
-"Huh?"-
Moria looked at Hidan in bewilderment as he spoke those words.
-"You're doomed..."- Hidan then gave him a maniacal grin. -"Now we will experience extreme pain together!"-
Moria opened his eyes in shock. -"What!?"-
What Hidan did was his famous jutsu: [Jujutsu: Shiji Hyōketsu]. A jutsu that functions as a ritual, linking the victim to Hidan. The property of this jutsu is that any type of injury it inflicts on Hidan also inflicts on its victim.
-"Damn you!"- Moria glared at Hidan in fury. -"What did you do to me?!"-
-"I cursed you..."- Hidan gave him a sadistic smile. -"It's that simple."-
He then pulled a retractable spear from his clothes. Moria, for some reason, felt afraid.
And without another word, Hidan plunged the spear into his right leg.
-"Gyaaa!"-
Moria screamed in pain as a deep wound formed on his right leg as he fell to one knee. He didn't fully understand it, but it seemed like he suffered every wound Hidan inflicted on himself. The most surprising thing was that Hidan seemed unaffected by the wounds.
-"It's time to end this..."- Hidan muttered as he pulled the spear from his leg and aimed it at his heart. -"It would have been entertaining to make you experience extreme pain, but surely my Captain wouldn't want me wasting my time in this war."-
Moria opened his eyes in panic as he saw Hidan's movement. Knowing that it could kill him, he quickly made his next move before Hidan impaled himself through the heart.
-"[Black Box]!"-
Taking advantage of the shadow bats still clinging to his opponent, he gathered them around Hidan, completely enclosing him in a black box made of solidified shadows.
-"What!?"-
Hidan was alarmed when he was trapped in the shadow box in midair, forced out of the circle, breaking the technique and freeing Moria.
With his opponent trapped, Moria began gathering the shadows of the zombies Hidan had previously killed.
-"[Tsuno-Tokage]!"-
Moria then extended the shadows, taking the form of a horned lizard-shaped spear, which quickly aimed at the trapped Hidan. The spear cleanly pierced the shadow box, and therefore, the trapped Hidan.
-"Kishishishishishi!"- Moria smiled sadistically as it pierced Hidan. -"Maybe I couldn't get his shadow, but his corpse could still be useful to me."-
Then he began to scatter both the box and the spear. When the shadow box disappeared, a giant pool of blood fell to the ground, greatly surprising Moria and the Marines watching.
-"What...?"-
Moria then witnessed the pool of blood begin to gather and rise, creating an almost grotesque scene. After a second, the pool of blood formed an intact Hidan.
-"Whew~"- Hidan sighed with satisfaction, then gave Moria a maniacal grin. -"I have to say, that felt better than it looked."-
Moria just stared at him in shock.
-"Good,"- Hidan smiled at him. -"I wanted to end this quickly, but it seems I won't."- Then his smile widened. -"And now I'm going to make you feel the most pain you've ever felt."-
Hidan then raised his right hand to the level of his head. In his hand, he began to gather large amounts of red liquid that flowed from his palm. In just a second, a sphere of blood the size of a person formed in Hidan's hand. Then, with a lazy wave of his hand, the sphere transformed into a dozen blood spears aimed at Moria.
Hidan smiled sadistically. -"[Chiyari]!"-
The spears were quickly launched at Moria, with blinding speed.
Moria became alarmed, then summoned his shadow in front of him to intercept the spears. Unfortunately, the spears passed cleanly through the shadow; the good news was that Moria was able to dodge them. The spears embedded themselves in the ground, demonstrating their power and durability as they were enhanced with chakra.
Moria then looked at Hidan, who was approaching slowly. Blood oozed from his eyes and mouth as he smiled evilly, undoubtedly creating a grotesque scene for the faint of heart. All of Hidan's power over blood was due to the power of Hidan's Akuma No Mi: the [Chi Chi No Mi], a Logia-type Akuma No Mi that allows the user to produce, manipulate, and transform into blood at will, thus turning them into a Chi no Shihaisha.
Moria looked at Hidan with a shudder. -"What the hell are you?"-
-"I am Hidan, a member of the Akatsuki Pirates and faithful follower of Death Itself: Shinigami-sama,"- Hidan replied with a creepy smile. -"And today I will be your executioner!"-
Then, with a single movement of his hand, Hidan manipulated the blood spears to redirect them back at Moria.
Moria had no choice but to switch places with his shadow in order to narrowly dodge the attack. Unfortunately, Hidan saw this coming and caught him in the act, resulting in a deep cut on his back.
-"Gah!"-
-"I'm not done yet!"-
Hidan didn't stop. He tried to attack Moria again, but Moria switched places with his shadow, which was cut in two equal parts upon receiving the attack.
Moria turned his shadow into a colony of bats, which attacked Hidan again. Hidan took no damage thanks to the power of his Akuma No Mi.
-"You won't escape me again!"- Hidan shouted, then pointed his right hand at Moria. -"[Chiningyō]!"-
-"Ugh!"-
Moria suddenly froze in place. It seemed as if his entire body was forced to remain completely still and unresponsive to his will. What he didn't know was that Hidan controlled every liter of blood within his body, giving him complete control of his circulatory system. This was possible because Hidan transferred some of the blood he had created when he slashed him across the back; The blood dispersed and merged with Moria's, giving Hidan the ability to manipulate it.
Moria tried again to switch places with his shadow, but something interrupted him.
-"Not so fast!"-
Before he could make a move, Hidan appeared in front of him and, in a swift motion, placed the [Onisūfū] seal Naruto had given him earlier on his body.
The moment the seal made contact with Moria, a navy blue aura with hints of black appeared around his body, which then seemed to be absorbed by the seal. In less than a second, the entire aura was absorbed by the seal, which was then quickly removed by Hidan.
Moria didn't know what had happened, so he simply ignored it. He then tried again to switch places with his shadow, but was surprised to find that he no longer felt his connection to his shadow.
-"Wh-What? Why can't I use the power of my Akuma No Mi?"- Moria said in surprise, then glared at Hidan. -"You bastard! What did you do to me?!"-
-"That doesn't matter anymore,"- Hidan said with a smile as he sealed the seal with the power of the [Kage Kage No Mi]. -"Because your time has come."-
Then, still controlling Moria's blood, Hidan made him float a few inches off the ground by slowly raising his right hand.
-"Ugh,"-
Moria groaned as his body was forced to float.
Hidan smiled sadistically. -"It's time for you to know true pain."-
Then he slowly began to close his right hand. This action seemed to affect Moria, as he began to let out an agonized scream.
-"AAAAAHHHHHGGGG! STOP!"- Moria begged as blood flowed from his eyes, ears, nose, and mouth. -"PLEASE STOP!"-
-"Very well!"- Hidan closed his right hand with sick joy. -"[Chigisei]!"-
Moria then exploded. Specifically, all the blood in his veins was forced out in the form of an internal explosion that gave Moria a swift but painful death.
The spectating Marines only watched in shock and horror as a Shichibukai died in the most grotesque manner they had ever seen.
Hidan watched without remorse as Moria's body fell in front of him. This fight wasn't difficult or exciting, but at least he was able to harness the power of an interesting Akuma No Mi.
And without further ado, Hidan looked at the horrified Marines, then smiled and continued his bloodshed on the battlefield.

While Hidan had his battle against Moria; Elsewhere on the battlefield, Kakuzu was having his own battle against a Shichibukai. His opponent was Ten Yasha himself: Donquixote Doflamingo.
The two fighters were engaged in a colossal battle that destroyed the surroundings and scared the Marines away from these two monsters.
Kakuzu had to admit that his opponent was powerful, with superhuman agility and strength, which could certainly cause trouble for some Yōsogakure No Sato ninjas, but he could handle it alone.
But undoubtedly the most troublesome thing was his power to generate and manipulate threads, giving them a variety of uses and attacks, which had caused Kakuzu to lose his limbs more than once, undoubtedly the work of an Akuma No Mi.
Although Doflamingo didn't know he was facing someone difficult to kill...
Currently, the two fighters were engaged in a hand-to-hand fight, which was undoubtedly destroying the surroundings. Both connected with blows at blinding speeds and with enough force to generate devastating shock waves.
After one final clash, both opponents retreated a few meters away from each other.
-"Fuffuffuffuffuffuffu! What magnificent power!"- Doflamingo declared with a wide grin. -"What kind of power is that, huh? It looks a lot like mine."-
Kakuzu snorted. -"As if I told you."-
-"Oh yeah?"- Doflamingo pointed his right hand at Kakuzu with an excited smile. -"Then show me! [Overheat]!"-
A thick thread then emerged from his right hand, propelling itself toward Kakuzu with threatening speed and force, as if it were a high-powered laser.
This was the power of Doflamingo's Akuma No Mi: the [Ito Ito No Mi], a Paramecia-type Akuma No Mi, which allows him to generate and manipulate threads, transforming him into an Ito Ningen.
Kakuzu saw this coming. He quickly dodged the rope, which embedded itself where he had been standing, then moved at lightning speeds toward Doflamingo while preparing a jutsu.
-"[Doton: Domu]!"-
Then Kakuzu's skin turned dark, proving that his toughness, resilience, and strength had hardened within his body, reaching the hardness of diamonds.
Kakuzu instantly appeared in front of Doflamingo with his right fist enhanced with the Earth Technique.
Doflamingo saw this coming. -"[Kumo no Sugaki]!"-
He quickly raised both hands, forming a web with thick threads, which he reinforced with Haki, which completely protected him from Kakuzu's reinforced blow.
But Kakuzu didn't stop. As his fist hit the web, dozens of black threads shot out from his wrist, quickly slipping through the holes in the web to attack Doflamingo.
Doflamingo jumped back, just in time to avoid being impaled alive by the black threads.
Kakuzu didn't give up. He quickly evaded the web and appeared in front of Doflamingo, attempting to strike again, but Doflamingo quickly intercepted him with a [Haki]-clad kick.
-"Is this all the Shinobi no Kami's subordinate can do?!"- Doflamingo smirked at Kakuzu as he intercepted his blow.-"Pathetic!"-
Ah, Kakuzu obviously didn't like that. So he decided to go all out in this fight.
Doflamingo was startled when he witnessed a yellow bull mask pop out from the neck area of Kakuzu's robes, revealing that it was held up by a collar made entirely of black thread.
-"[Raiton: Gian]!"-
The next thing that happened took Doflamingo by surprise. The bull mask's mouth lit up with an electrifying blue light, and in less than a second, it fired a powerful electric shock in the shape of a spear.
-"Gah!"-
Doflamingo couldn't dodge in time, causing the electric spear to slam into his chest.
The attack impacted and knocked him back, forcing him to roll roughly on the ground before coming to a stop. Doflamingo then slowly got up, touching the spot where the attack had struck and wincing. There was a horrible burn mark there, and he felt intense pain inside; though if he hadn't used [Busoshoku Haki] at the last moment, the internal damage would have undoubtedly been fatal.
Doflamingo was no fool. He knew that attack would have been fatal to anyone who hadn't defended themselves in time. When he looked at Kakuzu, he saw that he had removed his robes to reveal his bare torso.
-"Let's see if this seems pathetic to you,"-
Kakuzu muttered as four grotesque structures began to emerge from his back. These structures were made of black thread, each with a different mask. The structures detached themselves from Kakuzu and formed four enormous beings. One resembled a demonic biped with a beak and wore a light blue water mask. Another resembled a demonic tiger and wore a red tiger mask. The third resembled a deformed animal and wore a yellow bull mask. And the last resembled a strange, four-legged body with wings and wore a blue eagle mask.
And so, in less than a second, Kakuzu had four creatures behind him, much to Doflamingo's astonishment.
-"Let's see what you can do with this,"- Kakuzu said as the tiger-masked being and the eagle-masked being stepped forward. -"[Kimen no Bakuen]!"-
-"!?"-
Then both beings quickly launched their respective jutsus. The eagle-masked man launched [Fūton: Atsugai] and the tiger-masked man launched [Katōn: Zukokku], combining them to form a great explosion of flames that quickly headed toward Doflamingo.
The flames spread like a raging, hot wave, which increased greatly thanks to the influence of the wind, creating a sea of fire that covered everything in the agitated Doflamingo's sight.
Doflamingo knew he couldn't avoid this with a spider web. The most he could do was quickly jump over the sea of flames, narrowly avoiding it. He then took advantage of the few clouds above them to attach threads to them, making him float above the fire attack.
But suddenly, thanks to his [Kenbunshoku Haki], he sensed a presence above him. When he looked up, he could see the creature with the light blue water mask.
The creature formed water in the mouth of its mask, then launched the [Suiton: Ja no Kuchi] jutsu, releasing a swirling column of water shaped like a snake with gaping jaws, which quickly headed for Doflamingo.
The water snake swallowed the unsuspecting Doflamingo, then spun furiously and dragged him into the still-present sea of flames.
-"Gaaaaahhhh!"-
Doflamingo screamed in pain as the sea of flames completely covered him, while the water snake evaporated completely. The fire would undoubtedly have incinerated him if he hadn't been completely covered in [Busoshoku Haki], but not even strong [Haki] like his can protect him from a powerful fire amplified and enhanced by chakra, causing many injuries and much pain.
When the fire died down, a wounded Doflamingo was shown lying on the ground. He was still alive, but badly injured. Ugly burn marks were on various parts of his body, and his clothes were almost torn; his upper body was gone, and his down coat was gone. [Haki] certainly didn't help him at all.
-"Guh,"-
Doflamingo grunted as he struggled to get up from the ground.
-"I hope you can still continue,"- Kakuzu spoke, drawing Doflamingo's attention. -"Because I'm not finished!"-
Then suddenly, the bull-masked creature appeared in front of Doflamingo as he prepared another attack with the [Raiton: Gian].
Doflamingo saw this coming. He quickly got to his feet and sidestepped, completely dodging the lightning spear. He then had to move at lightning speeds again to dodge compressed air bullets, generated by the eagle-masked creature as it launched the [Futon: Shinkūgyoku] technique.
Doflamingo then appeared behind the eagle-masked creature as he prepared a spinning kick. He had a thin thread running from the heel of his foot to the other end of the leg in question.
-"[Itonoko]!"-
He was about to use the kick to slash, but suddenly had to put aside the attack in order to dodge a Western dragon made of water that was coming behind him, provoked by the water-masked creature using the [Suiton: Suiryūdan no Jutsu] jutsu.
-"Tch!"-
Doflamingo clicked his tongue in annoyance. These strange creatures made it difficult for him to attack. He knew it was best to take them out one by one.
-"[Goshikito]!"-
Doflamingo then appeared a few meters in front of the water-masked creature and sent five sharp, colorful threads shooting out from the fingers of his left hand.
The threads never reached him, as Kakuzu suddenly appeared and stepped into the middle of the attack while his body was reinforced again by the [Doton: Domu] jutsu. The threads collided with his body without any damage thanks to their hardness comparable to diamond.
Then, Kakuzu took advantage of his position and moved at lightning speeds to stand in front of his unsuspecting enemy. His reinforced right fist was only inches from Doflamingo's face.
Doflamingo was powerless to avoid the attack. The fist struck his face, with enough force to generate a shockwave at the point of impact. A second later, his body was now dragging along the ground as the blow forced him to fly from his previous position, blood pouring from his mouth. His body abruptly dragged along the ground, creating a line of destruction several meters long.
Doflamingo's body then stopped after several seconds. He stood with his face upturned, his expression grim.
-(This doesn't make sense...)- Doflamingo thought as he stared at the sky with a blank expression. -(String control... Creating string puppets... And various elemental powers; a normal human shouldn't possess such a power)-
Doflamingo then began to recall the various attacks he had received from Kakuzu. They certainly seemed ridiculous and were similar to the rumored abilities of Shinobi no Kami Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze.
-(Surely the Shinobi no Kami and this guy aren't normal...)-
He then got up from the ground to see Kakuzu several meters in front of him, accompanied by the four beings.
-"Let's get this over with..."-
Kakuzu muttered, already wanting to end this fight. Then the eagle- and tiger-masked beings prepared to launch the [Kimen no Bakuen] again.
-"You do have a lot of incredible abilities..."- Doflamingo told him, smiling again. -"But I haven't shown my full power either..."-
Kakuzu raised an eyebrow at what he said.
-"After all..."- Doflamingo grinned broadly. -"My threads will never run out!"-
-"!?"-
Kakuzu was startled when the entire ground around Doflamingo suddenly turned into white threads in just a second.
-"Let's see what you can do against this!"- Doflamingo shouted with a broad smile as he made a thousand white thread arrows emerge from the ground around him. -"[Flap Thread]!"-
He then braces the arrows in his arms and launches them at his enemy, forming a trail of a thousand sharp threads, their tips coated in [Haki].
Kakuzu put on a serious expression upon seeing the powerful attack, then quickly unleashed [Kimen no Bakuen], generating a devastating wave of raging flames that traveled toward the thread arrows.
The two attacks collided, with the flames completely overpowering the threads, incinerating them completely. A few dozen were able to pierce through the flames, thanks to [Busoshoku Haki], and then headed toward Kakuzu's group.
Kakuzu and his teammates quickly moved continuously to avoid being impaled by the thread arrows. After dodging each thread arrow, Kakuzu noticed Doflamingo protect himself from the fire by generating a gigantic wall of thick ropes covered entirely in [Haki] from the ground.
-"What did you do?"- Kakuzu asked, intrigued, as he watched the ground beneath Doflamingo's feet turn into white threads. -"You turned the ground into threads? Is that even possible?"-
-"Huh~? Don't you know?"- Doflamingo asked with a mocking smile. -"Well, I'll explain. Akuma No Mis powers have a whole other stage to them. It's known as [Kakusei]!"- He explained, wiggling his fingers with a big, smug grin. -"It's very rare for an ability to awaken and begin affecting things other than the user's body! But it's nothing I'm capable of!"-
-"So Akuma No Mis are capable of that?"- Kakuzu raised his eyebrows in awe. "Those fruits are impressive."-
-"And you haven't seen anything yet,"- Doflamingo smiled as he undid the wall after protecting himself from the fire. -"This fight isn't over!"-
Kakuzu then noticed that the ground beneath his feet and the ground beneath his hearts had completely turned into white threads.
-"[Billow White]!"-
Doflamingo then made thick strands of thread emerge from the ground and begin to massively attack Kakuzu and his hearts.
Kakuzu and his hearts dodged the attacks as best they could. Kakuzu made sure that no thread destroyed one of his hearts; it would be difficult and annoying to try to replace one of them.
He then took advantage of a moment when the attacks combined to force them back into his body; at least that way he could prevent them from being destroyed more easily.
-"Huh? What's wrong?"- Doflamingo watched Kakuzu's action with a smile. -"Don't you need those strange beings anymore?"-
-"I don't need them to defeat you,"-
Kakuzu declared as he continued to swiftly dodge the strands of thread.
-"Fuffuffuffuffuffuffu!"- Doflamingo laughed at Kakuzu's words. -"That's very arrogant of you!"-
Then with a single wave of his hand, Doflamingo sent all the thick strands of thread hurtling towards his opponent. In less than a second, Kakuzu was surrounded by more than a dozen of those threads.
Kakuzu wasn't alarmed by this. The eagle mask then extended from his back, above his head, and then revolved around his body as he launched the [Fūton: Shinkū Renpa] technique, expelling a large number of wind blades at various angles from his mouth, which cut all the strands into several pieces.
But then Doflamingo acted again. -"[Black Knight]!"-
From the ground of threads beneath his feet, thread structures began to rise in different places, which then condensed and formed a dozen perfect clones of Doflamingo.
(JC: I know he didn't display such power in the anime/manga, but it would have been incredible and possible; after all, Doflamingo could control several people with his threads. I don't think it would be difficult for him to control many clones.)
The clones wasted no time and rushed toward Kakuzu with big, bloodthirsty grins.
Kakuzu again used the [Doton: Domu] technique to enhance his body and prepared to receive the thread clones. He fought the first two clones with his advanced [Taijutsu]. After a few exchanges of blows, Kakuzu knocked down both clones with two blows enhanced by the jutsu.
He then had to move to dodge an attack from behind another clone, only to notice he was surrounded by four other clones.
Kakuzu then leaped high into the air, then extended the tiger mask from his back, which then quickly expelled a large fireball from its mouth as it performed the [Katōn: Gōkakyū no Jutsu]. The fireball impacted the five clones, completely incinerating them in mere seconds.
Then, in midair, Kakuzu was surrounded by five more clones, who smiled arrogantly at him.
Kakuzu growled in annoyance at the sight of the grinning clones, then extended the bull mask from his back, which then performed the [Raiton: Gian] jutsu. The spear-shaped electric discharge shot upwards and then split into five spears, which fell and impacted the five clones, completely eliminating them. When his feet touched the ground again, the two clones he had knocked down earlier appeared on either side of him and grabbed both arms, completely surprising him.
-"Shit!"-
Kakuzu cursed, then pushed the clone on his right side and then used his free hand to punch the one on his left, freeing him from his grasp. It was at that precise moment that he noticed the real Doflamingo standing just a few meters in front of him.
-"This is over!"- Doflamingo declared as he extended his left hand toward Kakuzu with a broad smile. -"Wisdom of my sacred threads! [God Thread]!"-
He then summoned sixteen thick strands of thread, coated entirely in [Busoshoku Haki], and launched them toward Kakuzu, aiming to pierce him.
Kakuzu watched in awe as the powerful and dangerous attack hurtled toward him at blinding speeds. He then quickly raised his right arm toward the attack, where thin white strands quickly began to sprout from his skin.
The strands gathered and condensed to quickly form a thick, circular structure, ten times the size of Kakuzu, which then took on a darker hue. The structure stood between the attack and Kakuzu, completely protecting the latter.
Doflamingo was surprised to see how this structure was able to withstand his most powerful attack. But what puzzled him most was what the structure truly was.
-"A mask?"-
As Doflamingo had confirmed, the strange structure Kakuzu had formed was a gigantic mask. It looked just like an ANBU mask and appeared to be that of a brown ogre.
-"I'm not finished yet,"-
Kakuzu declared seriously. Then, with a wave of his hand, the gigantic mask floated up and sped toward Doflamingo.
Doflamingo was startled, then quickly acted to defend himself.
-"[Kumo no Sugaki]!"-
He quickly created a spider web covered in [Haki] in front of him, which protected him from the projectile. The mask collided with the web with great force, producing devastating shockwaves at the point of origin.
Suddenly, Doflamingo looked up and saw two normal-sized red tiger masks floating above him. Fire ignited in the masks' mouths, from which gigantic fireballs were ejected; the result of the [Katōn: Gōkakyū no Jutsu] was launched.
Doflamingo leaped back, dodging the fireballs by mere centimeters.
-"!?"-
Suddenly, he spun around sharply, and there he saw a floating yellow bull mask. In a single second, the bull mask performed the [Raiton: Gian] jutsu, expelling a spear-shaped electric shock from its mouth, which aggressively impacted Doflamingo's chest.
-"AHG!"-
Doflamingo grunted in pain as the spear slammed clean into his chest, causing the electric current to course through his entire body, causing him to experience excruciating pain. The impact of the attack also pushed him back, forcing him to roll roughly on the ground.
When he stopped, Doflamingo looked and touched the impact site of the electric spear. There was an ugly burn mark on his chest.
He tried to get up with a few grunts of pain, due to the severe internal damage sustained from the electronic attack. It was at that moment that he noticed two blue eagle masks floating above him; they had air swirling around their mouths, pointing at him.
Doflamingo acted quickly this time. -"[Off White]!"-
He quickly produced two thick strands of white thread, which emerged from the ground, and then struck and destroyed both eagle masks.
Ignoring his pain, Doflamingo quickly stood up and looked around in concern. He then looked in front of him, where Kakuzu was standing calmly; floating above his head were the large ogre mask and the two tiger masks.
Doflamingo frowned. -"What the hell is this?"-
He didn't understand what was happening. Suddenly, these masks appeared out of nowhere, possessing the same elemental powers as his opponent.
-"I bet you didn't see that coming,"- Kakuzu gave Doflamingo a mocking look. -"But I'm not done yet."-
He then spread his arms out to his sides, and then something began to form and rapidly emerge from the skin all over his body. They weren't the black threads from before; what emerged were thin white fibers.
The fibers condensed and quickly formed dozens and dozens of masks, which floated around Kakuzu. They were masks of light blue water, yellow bulls, red tigers, blue eagles, and brown ogres.
Doflamingo was alarmed as an army of masks formed around Kakuzu in just seconds.
What he witnessed was the ability of Kakuzu's Akuma No Mi: the [Kamen Kamen No Mi], a Paramecia-type Akuma No Mi, which allows him to generate and manipulate masks at will; turning him into a Kamen no Shihaisha.
The abilities didn't just consist of manipulating and generating masks of any shape or size. The masks generated from his body were connected by a type of symbiotic bond. Kakuzu was able to see and hear through his masks, no matter where he was.
Some might think this type of ability was better for espionage or reconnaissance, but for someone as special as Kakuzu, it was a powerful ability. Kakuzu could indirectly transfer his chakra to the masks, giving them a specific elemental affinity.
This was how the masks could generate the respective jutsus. With this, Kakuzu had great offensive power, as well as defensive power; such as when he created the gigantic ogre mask, which strengthened when using the [Doton: Domu] jutsu, turning it into a perfect shield.
Thanks to his enormous chakra reserves and the fact that he possessed all five elements, Kakuzu could create a large army of masks capable of performing powerful elemental jutsus in seconds.
Kakuzu then continued the fight. With a wave of his hands, the water masks quickly lined up in front of him, forming a large wall of over thirty masks.
-"[Kimen no Imizu]!"-
The masks then fired a barrage of water bullets as they performed the [Suiton: Teppōdama] technique.
-"!?"-
Doflamingo was alarmed as he watched the hundreds of water bullets hurtle toward him. He quickly generated large strands of white thread from the ground and coated them with [Haki] to form a wall that would protect him from the attack. The water bullets collided with the wall of threads with a thunderous noise and tremendous force. Doflamingo grunted as he held the wall against destruction.
When the attacks ceased, Doflamingo quickly summoned a thousand white thread arrows, their tips coated with [Haki], from the ground around him.
-"[Flap Thread]!"-
Doflamingo then lowered the thread wall, then launched the arrows at the water masks to destroy them and reach Kakuzu.
The thread arrows destroyed all the water masks and then continued on their way to Kakuzu.
-"[Kimen no Doheki]!"-
Kakuzu quickly lined up all the brown ogre masks in front of him, forming a wall against the attack. The masks took on a darker hue as they were reinforced by the use of the [Doton: Domu] technique.
The thread arrows collided harmlessly against the masks, unable to pierce their diamond-like hardness. Then, several tiger masks appeared around the threads, which were then incinerated when the masks bombarded them with fireballs upon performing the [Katōn: Gōkakyū no Jutsu] jutsu.
-"Tsk!"-
Doflamingo clicked his tongue in annoyance as his attack was neutralized. He then watched as the masks dispersed to reveal Kakuzu.
-"It seems this fight will last longer than expected,"- Kakuzu looked at him amused. -"But it won't last long. I, Kakuzu of the Akatsuki Pirates, will defeat you and receive a great reward for it."-
Doflamingo said nothing; he just frowned as thick strands of white thread began to emerge from the ground around him.
Meanwhile, Kakuzu began to reform more masks for the fight.
Then the fight between the Shichibukai and the Ninja continued...

-"Of course, miss."-
Naruto smiled amusedly as his daughter poured more tea into his cup.
Currently Naruto was in his eldest daughter Akane's room, having one of the many tea parties she hosted each week. Every Saturday afternoon, Akane hosted tea parties in her room, inviting any family members who were available at the time; though Naruto never missed one of them.
But this wasn't a typical little girl's tea party, where toys and fake tea were used, and where most of the guests were stuffed animals. No, the tea parties were more sophisticated.
First, they began with Akane distributing the invitations. Invitations made of fine paper, with beautiful decorations and refined calligraphy, handwritten by Akane herself. The invitation had specific details about the time, place, and how to present the party.
That's right, you had to wear formal attire to a little girl's tea party. That's why Naruto was wearing a fine red suit, and Akane was wearing a sophisticated red princess dress with yellow details.
-"More tea, sir?"-
-"Grrr. Yes, please."-
Naruto suppressed a laugh as Akane now poured a cup of tea for a grumpy Sasuke, who was (obligatory) wearing a blue tuxedo, along with a blue top hat on his head (which Akane forced him to wear during the party).
After handing out the invitations, all the guests gathered in Akane's room, where the tea party would be held. Everyone had to be there on time, as stated on the invitation, or Akane wouldn't let them in and would be very upset about the delay.
So the tea party would begin in Akane's room. Due to Naruto's intervention, Akane and her other children had gigantic rooms; literally separate pocket dimensions that were attached to the Uzumaki Mansion.
Akane's room is literally the interior of a Victorian castle, furnished with the finest and most expensive furniture possible, not to mention the various remarkable and expensive decorations, which made it seem as if the place belonged to the wealthiest royalty.
Each tea party was held in a gigantic, elegant hall, replete with beautiful round tables and their respective elegant chairs, both decorated with elegant tablecloths and cushions.
The hall was large enough to accommodate over a hundred people for a party; something that happened when Akane hosted her first tea party, where all her family, friends, many important citizens of Yōsogakure No Sato, and even Gods from the Pantheons allied to the Shinobi Faction were invited.
All of them had attended that magnificent tea party that day. No one could say no to Akane's invitation, otherwise they would anger the little princess, which is not a good thing...
Akane, however, is polite and understanding enough for her age to never invite people who didn't like that kind of thing again.
The only ones who couldn't be spared were the Uzumaki family; they had to attend, unless they had something important to do, like work or missions.
Naruto honestly didn't mind. He liked spending time with his little princess. His wives didn't mind, either, as did his other children; the only stubborn one was Sasuke, who didn't like elegant and fancy things.
But not even Sasuke wants to earn his sister's ire...
When the tea party begins, Akane greets her guests with elegant china and tea sets, decorated with beautiful fire and roses. There were also different silver cutlery for different snacks.
Obviously, there were also different tea bags and herbs, of all kinds and varieties, all top-quality. There were also containers and bases for various small sweet snacks or even whole cakes; all made by Cogman for the occasion.
It was certainly a very elegant party for a two-year-old to throw...
-"You put so much effort into your tea parties every Saturday, daughter,"-
Pakura told her after taking a sip from her cup. She was wearing an elegant orange dress for the occasion.
-"Thank you, Okā-sama,"- Akane thanked her as she elegantly ate a slice of cake. -"I'm practicing for when I start my own tea club."-
-"Oh? Do you want to start your own tea club, Akane-chan?"-
Haku asked while eating her own cake. Like the others, she was wearing an elegant blue dress for the occasion.
-"That's right, Haku-Okā-sama,"- Akane smiled. -"It's one of my goals in this life; to found an exclusive and elegant tea club."-
No one was going to comment on how a two-year-old (apparently four) already had a clear goal; after all, Akane, like the other children in the family, was ridiculously intelligent for her age.
-"I'm sure you'll achieve that goal, Akane-chan,"-
Fū told her as she sipped tea from her own cup. She was also wearing an elegant green dress for the occasion.
-"Thank you, Fū-Okā-sama. I still have a lot of work to do,"- Akane took an elegant sip from her cup, then continued speaking. -"The main thing is to find a great place to hold the club, equipped with everything necessary. I can't always do it in my room."-
The other girls nodded at that.
Naruto, meanwhile, had an idea upon hearing that conversation.
-(A great place, huh?)-
Naruto smiled, having a good idea for one of Akane's upcoming birthday gifts.
