The silver-haired figure was a man, and yet his face was strangely familiar. It was the same face most people remembered, yet somehow altered, similar but mildly different. The boyish features they once knew had grown into something taller, more imposing. His hair flowed around him, silver strands cascading over a body covered in polished scales that caught the light, reflecting it like liquid metal.
From his forehead, a pair of twisted white horns curved skyward, completing the image of someone simultaneously human and otherworldly.
As he stepped fully into view, a smile curved his lips. His voice cut through the charged air, calm and measured, yet carrying the weight of authority.
"I thought you all came here to welcome me."
