Furukae was once my to-go technique. No matter who I faced – warrior, mage, dragons, and the occasional giants, it was always there as a pillar I could lean on. A plan I could rely on. And it used to be that way until I realized something.
In theory, Furukae should have no limits. But my body was not able to keep up with the increased power so I compensated with using healing magic but I encountered another barrier.
Despite it being limitless, I reached the limits of the technique. It no longer provided the boosts I once used to get. And I soon figured out why.
Furukae pushed beyond the limits to gain strength. By subconsciously using healing magic, I was limiting its power to draw out potential from beyond death's door. But using it without healing magic was basically suicide.
I had already attempted to reduce the power but at the stage I was, there was almost no point in using Lesser Furukae or making it weaker.
