CHAPTER ONE
ALEXA P. O. V
I was running through the woods, exhausted and wounded but l can't stopped now not when l'm this close to survive, the bright white dress l had been wearing has now been soaked of my blood and those of my family, fear seeping deep inside me as l struggle to make my way through the forest. How did it turn out like this?, How did everything l treasure so much be gone?,where did everything go wrong?, Why did this happened to me?, How could they do this to us?, Well l wasn't going to get my answers anytime soon as l hear them gaining up on me, NO NO NO this can't be happening, l felt one of them touch my hand but before l could react the ground gave way and all l could remember is darkness pure darkness. "ALEXA!! ALEXA!! where are you"?? I heard the voice of my friend calling out for me
"Ahhh what happened" l groaned as l tried to get off the floor
" Oh l found her, she's over here" l heard her shout to my other friend
"What happened to me" I asked
"Well somebody thought it was a good idea to jump on top of a moving train without proper stamina, seriously do you want to die" said my friend Clara while inspecting my body for injuries
"But but what about the culprit" I tried to say as I felt a terrible headache
"He got away this time" my other friend Naomi said walking towards us
"Then what are we waiting for, let's go after him" l said trying to get up despite still feeling woozy
"You can't even stand properly, forget it, let's do it another day we are already tired " Clara said while trying to balance me
"Clara is right, we have to get you check up and rest as for Magnus he can't run away for ever and even if he do we will hunt him down" said Naomi menacingly
"But .....
"No buts we go now, hop in" said Clara pushing me into the car
"Fine " I said grumbling
"Don't worry, we have plenty of opportunities to catch him besides why are you so worked up is not like is the first time we are doing this" Naomi said while starting to engine
" Is just that the sooner we get this over with the better, l got plenty of stuff to do and it is annoying that a little person manages to slip through our fingers every time" l said bitterly
"Is not that all bad at least we get to keep this cute puppy" Clara chuckle
"Nope l said it before and l'm saying it again we are not keeping the puppy that is from a revival what if it's a spy" l said
" A puppy being a spy?! Alexa don't you think you are getting a little paranoid now? I get that you hit your head while jumping but what does a innocent puppy got to do with this" Clara said hugging the puppy tighter
" What does hitting my head got to do with any of this, you know what fine keep the puppy but keep away from me, got it?" I said
" Got it Grumpy, (turns to the puppy) don't worry l won't let her get close to you, she's a meanie"said Clara
*Roll my eyes*
" Okay, now that is out of the way, what are we having for dinner"Said Naomi
"I vote spaghetti"I said raising my hands up
"Me too" Naomi said doing the same
"Seems like you have no choice Clara" l smirked
"Fine" she said puffing her cheeks
"You look adorable" I tease
"Hey have you guys ever thought of going back" Naomi suddenly said
"All the time"said Clara
Both of them looked at me
"What? I said
"Do u miss home " said Clara
"There's not really much to miss when u don't have family and l stopped having family when Grandpa died he was the only family l had" l said
"What are talking about we are your family" Clara said
"Yh l'm grateful for the universe giving me two great besties a girl would asked for " l smiled at her
"Home sweet home"Naomi said while stopping the car
'I haven't even realise we were home yet guess it was a short ride'
"Come on fluffy let me show you, your new room"Clara said while running inside
"Great u even gave it a name (unfortunately I was talking to thin air)
"Get some rest Alexa" Naomi said while rushing inside too probably to go call her boyfriend
