Morning light trickled through the window screens like scattered gold dust, falling over the two figures lying beneath the thin blankets. Li Shixin stirred first. Her eyelashes fluttered, her brow furrowing slightly as she felt something warm—and annoyingly comfortable—wrapped around her waist.

"For a while." His grip tightened playfully. "Someone was hugging me in her sleep. I didn't want to disturb her."
"Lies," she said immediately.
Feng Yun smiled, unbothered. "Then which part should I correct? The hugging part, or the part where I enjoyed it?"
