This was indeed the truth.

Lin Moyu said, "Alright, time to handle proper business. Little Tree, help me construct a spatial passage."
Little Tree asked, "Very well. Where does Master wish the passage to lead?"
Lin Moyu said, "To the Life Forbidden Zone."
"Ah?"
Little Tree froze for a moment.
"Master, are you really sure about doing this?"
The Primordial Stone also asked, "Master, it should not yet be time for you to go to the Life Forbidden Zone."
Lin Moyu said, "I do not plan to go in. I only want to run an experiment and see whether my idea is feasible."
The Primordial Stone's eyes lit up.
"Is Master referring to finding a way to render the physical body illusory?"
Lin Moyu nodded.
"Construct the passage. I will go take a look."
Constructing a spatial passage was no challenge for Little Tree, and since the other end of the passage was the Life Forbidden Zone, it was all the easier.
Instead of building the passage within the leaves, Little Tree directly used its roots to establish it.
Little Tree's roots were already in the Life Forbidden Zone, right next to the Divine Language World, and Lin Moyu had no special requirements on distance anywhere within the Life Forbidden Zone was fine.
Lin Moyu walked to the end of the spatial passage and stood at the exit, where he could see the Life Forbidden Zone.
No matter from what angle one viewed the Life Forbidden Zone, its terror could be felt.
The deathly stillness that seeped into the deepest part of the soul was enough to shatter a person's Dao heart.

On the contrary, it was Little Tree that continuously absorbed that annihilating power, converting it into nourishment to foster its own growth, while also feeding strength back to the Divine Language World.
Little Tree's wondrous nature was apparent.
However, Lin Moyu still did not know why Little Tree's roots could live freely in the Life Forbidden Zone.
He had pondered this question, but the answer he reached was still vague.
Little Tree was a Primordial Spirit Tree, and it should be related to the words "Primordial Chaos."

Little Tree's voice sounded.
"Master, this spatial passage is built by relying on my roots, so it cannot be stretched too far. Is this acceptable?"
Lin Moyu said, "It is enough. Extend two roots over and coil them around my soul and body."
Little Tree did as told.
One root burrowed into the spatial passage and wrapped once around Lin Moyu's soul and physical body.
"Send my body into the Life Forbidden Zone," Lin Moyu continued ordering.
Little Tree again followed his instructions.
His soul remained inside the spatial passage, while his body was sent into the Life Forbidden Zone, yet the connection between the two did not break.
For the first time, Lin Moyu sensed the intact, undiluted power of annihilation the raw, unfiltered annihilating force of the Life Forbidden Zone.
In less than one‑hundredth of a breath, his body swiftly turned to dust, leaving not a trace behind.
However, because his soul remained whole, the Rebirth ability did not activate.
With his body destroyed but his soul intact, Lin Moyu was not truly dead, and so Rebirth naturally stayed dormant.
Where his physical body had been, his ordinary sight showed nothing left, but in the eye of his soul, at the microscopic scale, the body had merely been ground into ultra‑fine motes of dust, still in existence.
Lin Moyu's soul unleashed the Undying Dao.
Vast streams of the Power of Life flowed along Little Tree's roots to the place where his body had shattered, in an attempt to restore it.
But the moment the Power of Life entered the Life Forbidden Zone, it met with the annihilating force's resistance and could not reach the crushed remains of his body.
Little Tree did not understand what Lin Moyu was doing.
In his view, Lin Moyu's physical body was already gone.
Still, the body was not overly important to a cultivator; as long as the soul remained intact, it did not matter too much.
He trusted Lin Moyu and did not ask further questions.
Lin Moyu experimented for a while.
When he found that the Power of Life simply could not be sent across, he could only give up in the end and sigh softly.
"This attempt has failed."
