White turned gray, gray turned white they kept changing, colliding, unleashing astonishing power.
The life and death ring, forged from the Dao, spun about Lin Moyu, its radiance warping the void itself.
The power of death did not shatter space by force, but withers it; when death was declared, the space itself died and crumbled.
This kind of shattering was hard to heal, even for world laws.
Afterward, life energy swept across, reviving what had withered and collapsed restoring the space to perfect health. The parts touched by life force became especially stable, starkly contrasting nearby void.
But in the next breath, the space influenced by life was again shattered, and life and death continued transforming.
So the Immortal Dao grew quickly in this dance of death and rebirth.
Within the gray white ring, life and death merged completely each within the other. The switching of life and death occurred entirely at Lin Moyu's whim.
His enlightenment didn't last long barely ten minutes, but in that time, the Immortal Dao grew dozens of times more powerful.
Comprehending the Dao works like that: tens of thousands or millions of years without a step, then, upon clarity, growth leaps by ten or a hundred.
Lin Moyu slowly awoke, muttering, "This is the true use of the Immortal Dao life and death in a thought, controlling both. If I don't wish to die, I am eternal."
The Immortal Dao could well be termed the Life and Death Dao, for it brimmed with their combined might.
Yet Lin Moyu preferred "Immortal Dao" if truly mastered, it rendered him deathless and indestructible.
If life and death constantly turn into each other, how can one die? Any power strong enough to kill him would just become new vitality.
So, it should be called the Immortal Dao this name is more apt than Life and Death Dao.
Controlling life and death is just a side ability. Its real power is guaranteeing survival.
Lin Moyu took a deep breath, dispersing the life death circle, letting it merge into himself.
