Lin Moyu could comprehend the Shadow Desolate Beast's actions. The most fascinating aspect of the story was actually the nature of space.
The deepest chaos is filled with spatial turbulence; even those with spatial gifts struggle to move within. Only unique life forms like the Shadow Desolate Beast or Supremes can enter.
Beyond the turbulence, deeper yet, what exists only these beasts know even Supremes cannot reach, so it's their domain alone.

But its true master was the third elder of the Central Domain Divine Alliance this meant the elder could always trace Lin Moyu's whereabouts, even perhaps spying on him.
Luckily, the Soul Severing Needle was kept in a storage space, which presumably blocks the elder's probing.
Lin Moyu was confident the third elder meant no harm, but it was still annoying.
