Chapter 3871: So This Is Chaos
The two words: "So this is chaos."

"Master!" Chaos Child called out in his soul.
His consciousness entered the soul world. "What is it?"
Chaos Child said, "Master, I want to fuse and enhance several of your spells."
Lin Moyu was intrigued. "Which spells?"
Chaos Child replied, "Quite a few. Master has so many spells; they can be fused to make them stronger. Also, your Myriad Worlds is basically formed now, so it can be used to boost spells. I think the effect should be good. Do you want to try?"
In the past, the little guy would just fuse spells without asking, even if the fusion was crippled or malfunctioning. But this time, it was asking for permission. Was it because it had gained intelligence, or because the fusion might have problems?
Lin Moyu felt something was off. "Is this fusion especially difficult?"
Chaos Child hummed, "It's not easy. To make the fused spells work across two worlds, there's a price to pay. I don't know if the power I've accumulated is enough."
Recently, Chaos Child had been accumulating power in the chaotic world, but Lin Moyu didn't know how much.
Lin Moyu said, "Try it fuse as many as you can. If it doesn't work, we'll try again next time."
Chaos Child trembled lightly. "That won't do. This is the best time, since you've just become a Dao Lord and the world's rules are temporarily relaxed. If we miss this chance, who knows how long until the next one?" The next breakthrough would be beyond Dao Lord who knows when that would be? Even Lin Moyu, as confident as he was, couldn't guarantee he'd ever take that final step.
Lin Moyu resolved, "Do your best. I'll have Little Tree help you!"
As he finished, Little Tree appeared before him.
Lin Moyu said, "Send the power you've absorbed to Chaos Child to help with the fusion."
The World Tree was also absorbing power in the chaotic world; both were absorbing chaotic energy, though it became different after conversion.
Lin Moyu thought his idea was sound the World Tree should be able to supply Chaos Child.
But Little Tree hesitated, not agreeing right away. "Master, if we do this, the soul world will explode."
Chaos Child added, "That's right. Master isn't in a chaotic state yet and can't withstand chaotic energy. But you did create chaos during your breakthrough in the great world. It's not strong yet, but it's usable. That chaos belongs to you, so its power won't hurt you."
Lin Moyu recalled the region where all sorts of Daos were mixed and mashed together into a paste. He had thought it seemed similar to chaos, and now, thanks to Chaos Child, he could be sure: that region really was chaos.
"So this is called chaos."
Lin Moyu asked, "Little Tree, is that okay?"
"I'll try." A root shot out, split in two in midair one part pierced the world membrane and entered the newly formed chaos region, the other gently touched Chaos Child. Using this root as a channel, Little Tree sent all the absorbed power into Chaos Child. Some power leaked, whipping up a fierce wind in the soul world. The wind was filled with endless Dao power, but since it all belonged to Lin Moyu, no matter how intense, it wouldn't harm him.
"Master, it's ready!" said Chaos Child.
Lin Moyu nodded. "Let's do it, I'm counting on you."
Chaos Child cheered, "Don't worry, Master watch me!"
It shot over to the spell stars and sprayed them with chaotic energy. Compared to before, there weren't many spell stars left; Lin Moyu felt that some passive spells could be fused, and the rest would depend on Chaos Child's performance.
Chaotic energy enveloped two spell stars, [Immunity] and [Damage Transfer]. As Lin Moyu expected, these two passive spells were the first to be fused. The chaotic energy surged, drawing the two spell stars together, and the fusion officially began.
