Rosie started for the door after the call, she needed to inform Mafia King Asher about her next steps. The Mafia King had been really nice and accommodating in the past weeks, and it seemed like their alliance would still continue for the time being.
When she got back to Asher's study, there was one less person in the stately room, everyone seated in grim silence as she entered.
"I'll be leaving shortly," She reported, a bit absentminded. "Davian and Lake should be back by tonight, I'll be waiting for them when they do."
Caspian brightened up at this news, he knew that Lake would be returning early but he didn't know the specifics. The near future might be looking grim but this was something for him to look forward to.
Jael rose to his feet without prompting from Asher, the designated mover for Rosie at that point.
