Chapter 253 - Ch-244

LunaBliss: I don't remember the last time I cried this much. I watched the full video, along with dozens of others that Troy had linked in the description. How can anyone do that to another human being, let alone children? I want to hurt someone right now. #NotProstitutes #ReleaseEpsteinNames

Lucy_12: I feel the same. Hats off to Troy for standing up to our corrupt government. I don't think I would have had the courage to do what he did if I were in his place. I was never a big fan of his, but now? I'll support him in every way I can, by watching his movies and buying his albums. I know he doesn't need it, but at least I'll know the money is going to someone good. #NotProstitutes #ReleaseEpsteinNames

SereneDreamer: When he said he wasn't suicidal, I got really worried for him. I hope those bastards rot in their prisons for the rest of their lives. If anything happens to Troy, I'll riot. #NotProstitutes #ReleaseEpsteinNames

QuantumFox: I'm rioting anyway. I live in DC, and tomorrow a group of friends and I are protesting in front of the FBI HQ. Everyone's welcome. Here's the link with details. #NotProstitutes #ReleaseEpsteinNames

PixelWarrior77: Did they seriously think they could get away with this? These rich people are some of the dumbest mofos alive. #NotProstitutes #ReleaseEpsteinNames

LoneTravis: I found something shocking. I was digging around to see who else might be involved, and I came across a photo of Jeffrey Epstein laughing next to a British royal: Prince Andrew. Link. I was stunned. #NotProstitutes #ReleaseEpsteinNames

TinFoilHatExpert: Holy shit. Prince Andrew is done for. Maybe it's time for the world's most famous monarchy to go. Do we even need royals anymore, especially in democracies? I say end it with this generation. Strip their titles and privileges. #NotProstitutes #ReleaseEpsteinNames

SimplestGuy: Not a fan of Troy, but that was a classy move. Death to Epstein and every co-conspirator. #NotProstitutes #ReleaseEpsteinNames

PatAttack: Still feels unbelievable, but something similar almost happened to me when I was 16. I was walking alone when a shady guy approached me with a job offer for a rich man. I didn't accept. I don't know if it was Epstein, but stuff like this is everywhere. #NotProstitutes #ReleaseEpsteinNames

SereneDreamer: Glad you're safe, @PatAttack. These men must be held accountable. I'll lose all faith in the government if they keep labeling victims as prostitutes and let this slide.

Billionaire Teen Star Troy Armitage Accuses FBI of Cover-Up in Jeffrey Epstein Scandal

By Julia Teller, Investigative Reporter, The New York Times

LOS ANGELES — In a stunning video that has sent shockwaves through political, legal, and entertainment circles worldwide, 19-year-old British-American actor and global pop star Troy Armitage publicly accused the FBI of covering up decades of abuse committed by financier Jeffrey Epstein and his network of high-profile associates.

Armitage, best known for his titular role in the [Harry Potter] series and his chart-topping music career, posted an exposé on YouTube—a platform he is a majority owner of—late Saturday evening. Within hours, the video amassed over 10 million views, prompting heated discussion across newsrooms and government offices alike.

"The FBI knows all about it. They have irrefutable proof to lock him up for life, but instead, they are choosing to give Epstein a plea deal where he'll be out in a year," Armitage stated in the video, his voice steady and resolute.

The video included testimonial clips from alleged victims whose identities were concealed. According to Armitage, these interviews had previously been submitted—uncensored—to federal investigators but were ignored. In the description of the video, he shared links to additional victim testimonies and a full digital library of documents outlining the FBI's proposed plea deal with Epstein, along with evidence allegedly left unacted upon.

Armitage also leveled serious allegations against Agent Tom Walker, the former FBI operative who led an insider trading investigation into Armitage earlier this month. According to the actor, Walker is the same agent who negotiated Epstein's controversial plea deal years ago.

Though Armitage stopped short of naming additional suspects, he hinted that influential figures were being shielded by the plea agreement. "At least one of the co-conspirators is British royalty," he said.

While Armitage refrained from naming the royal, his fans quickly resurfaced old photographs of Epstein with Prince Andrew, the Duke of York. Buckingham Palace has not commented on the claims.

Neither the FBI nor the Department of Justice has issued a formal response. The British Embassy in Washington referred inquiries to the Foreign Office in London, which has also remained silent.

The only visible government action to date is the FBI's arrest of Jeffrey Epstein, who had been under house arrest at his Florida residence. He is now being held in federal custody.

Behind the scenes, sources tell The New York Times that officials in both countries are "scrambling" to assess the fallout and verify both the authenticity of the materials Armitage has already made public and the unreleased documents he claims to possess.

"I've never seen a celebrity take a risk this significant," said Dr. Maria Lowenthal, a media ethics professor at UCLA. "He's essentially declared war on two powerful governments. It's brave, but also deeply dangerous. I wish more celebrities like Troy would come forward to speak against these injustices, but I understand why they don't. They have a lot to lose. Troy is in a place where he can lose a lot and still remain on top."

Online support for Armitage has surged. The hashtags #NotProstitutes and #ReleaseEpsteinNames trended globally, with thousands praising the young star for drawing attention to the dehumanizing language often used to describe abuse victims. Protesters gathered outside the FBI headquarters and the White House in Washington, D.C., as well as the British Consulate in New York on Sunday morning, demanding transparency and action.

Armitage has promised to release further evidence if the FBI and DOJ fail to act within the coming days.

Whether the video results in concrete legal or political consequences remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: Troy Armitage is no longer just a superstar entertainer. He has become the face of a growing reckoning.

I put down the newspaper and looked over at Scarlett, who had been reading the article beside me.

"It isn't too late," I offered. "We can still have an amicable breakup, at least for a few months until things die down. Then we can get back together if that's what you want."

Scarlett did something I was not expecting. She punched me in my uninjured shoulder. I reeled back in surprise, not because it pained me, but because it was so unexpected.

"When will you stop being such a goody two-shoes? You can't just put everyone's life ahead of yours and think that counts as love. You confessed to me, which means something. We are in this together now. I'll feel like a monster for the rest of my life if I walk away right now when you're doing such noble work."

While I wouldn't say it out loud, I was relieved by her words. A lot. I had talked to my parents, Scarlett, and Evan before I released that video. All of them had given me unanimous support to go forward with this plan of mine. I had assigned a dedicated security detail for all of them. I didn't think they would need the extra protection, but as they say, prevention is better than a cure.

I grinned before pulling Scarlett closer to me with my uninjured side. "Did you just quote a line from my own film at me?"

Scarlett shrugged innocently. "Perks is my favorite film of yours. I've watched it, like, a hundred times. The only thing I don't like about it is that I wasn't a part of it."

I grinned and kissed her on the lips.

"Thank you," I said sincerely after pulling away.

"For liking a movie?" she teased.

I rolled my eyes at her. "You know why."

"Do I?" She moved closer, her hands roaming around my torso before going down. "How about I give you a real reason to be thankful for?"

My breath hitched as her hand grabbed tightly onto me down there, and started moving it slowly over my clothes.

"Troy! I got an email from—" Benji barged into my study without invitation, making both Scarlett and me jump apart.

"Uh, sorry?" he apologized lamely.

I growled in frustration. "I swear, you have the worst timing in the whole world, Benji."

He raised his arms slightly. "In my defense, it is your study, not your bedroom, and you have told me multiple times not to knock." Then he took a step back. "I can come back later…"

"No," Scarlett said as she moved towards the door. "I have some scripts to go through anyway. You guys talk."

When it was just us, Benji looked over, silently asking permission to go on. I sighed before motioning him to continue.

"You got a few emails from different parties. Emails that I know you'd want to read. First is an email from the FBI Director Mueller. He wants to arrange a meeting with you to discuss the allegations you made against the FBI."

Of course. He may have told me to handle it, but I had done it on my terms, at the expense of the FBI's credibility. So it made sense that he'd want to have a chat with me. Whether he would be happy with the outcome or not was yet to be seen.

"Alright," I nodded, glancing at my shoulder, which was still in a sling. "Thanks to this, I won't be filming [Avatar] for a while, so I'm free for the meeting. Set it up as soon as possible. What else?"

He noted it down before saying, "Allison emailed saying that after your video went viral, the donations received by the foundation have seen a huge surge. As in, more than two million dollars in two days."

"Woah," I said, excited. "That's huge."

"I know," he agreed. "The biggest contributor is, surprisingly, Ronald Chump, who donated a million dollars on his own. While the donation was unconditional, Chump has requested a call with you."

Now it was my turn to be surprised. Ronald Chump? The person who will single-handedly start a trade war with the entire world in less than two decades from now and then beg for a Nobel Peace Prize? The same person we also have circumstantial evidence against in the Epstein case? That Chump?

The more I thought about it, the clearer it became why he had done it. He was probably hoping for me to publicly endorse his good behavior and philanthropic nature.

"No," I said firmly. "Tell Allison, no meetings. Say I'm too busy to meet sleazy businessmen like Chump. Is that all?"

He shook his head. "Chad Hurley, the CEO of YouTube, wants a meeting to discuss the scaling up of operations you had planned for this year, including the cloud infrastructure they are preparing to build."

I nodded as I thought about it. Chad had sent me a detailed presentation a few weeks ago on the same topic. Investing in cloud infrastructure was a major step and would cost at least 300 to 400 million dollars, if not more. But given how many industries I was getting involved in, it made sense to get it out of the way early. YouTube and Netflix alone would need that infrastructure. Especially YouTube, which didn't have Google to rely on this time. Paying Amazon, Microsoft, or Google for their cloud services would be far more expensive in the long run than creating your own.

"Ask him to come here then," I said, pointing to my sling. "I'm not going anywhere unless I absolutely have to."

"You'll have to," Benji said apologetically. "The acquisition of Netflix and Marvel is almost done, but to finalize it, you'll need to convince their respective boards that you don't have bad intentions for the future of those companies. Netflix is in San Francisco, so you can meet with them and YouTube at the same time. For Marvel, you'll have to go to New York."

"Fuck," I muttered. "Fine. I'll go to Frisco and New York. Please tell me that's all?"

"Just one last bit," Benji promised. "We got an email from UNICEF as well. They've offered you the chance to be their international goodwill ambassador. I think you should do it. It'll be good for your image."

I shook my head. "It's too much, all at once. Tell them I'm honored to receive the offer, but I'll have to think about it, given my busy schedule and all that jazz."

He nodded and finally left me alone in my study.

I wasn't really surprised by that last one. I had already received the same offer a few years ago. I hadn't accepted it then, because I personally believe celebs usually get involved with UN entities just to look good, to be able to call themselves philanthropists or activists. Most of them don't actually care about those causes. So if I were to become a spokesperson for UNICEF, I would have to make sure it's on my terms, not theirs.

Robert Mueller sat opposite President George W. Bush, who looked more and more constipated with each passing moment.

"You couldn't have warned me, Bob?" Bush asked suddenly. "Before this situation became so bad?"

He turned toward the TV in the room, which was conveniently showing a protest just outside the White House.

"I did warn you, Mr. President," Robert said firmly. "But you told me specifically to keep out of it because some baseless accusations from nobodies shouldn't besmirch the names of upstanding people you've known for years."

Bush glared at Mueller. "Are you insinuating something, Mueller?"

"No, sir. I am just stating the facts," he said curtly. "My job is to serve the American people, and they have chosen you as their representative. So I did as you said."

Bush considered him silently for a few moments before asking, "How did that kid get classified information? Could we lock him up for hacking the FBI accounts? Make an example out of him?"

Robert shook his head. "We have no proof that he hacked the accounts. We don't even know how he got the information. Most likely, someone on the inside, some disgruntled employee, gave it to him. In that case, we'll look like fools if we prosecute him. All the information he's released relates to that particular case. The public loves him right now. If your administration arrested him, those protests would look tame by comparison." He gestured at the TV, where people held up banners, including one that read, DEATH TO EPSTEIN.

Bush got up from his seat and began pacing around the room.

"It had to happen right now, didn't it? Just when I was about to complete my term."

Robert stood as well and said, "We can fix this easily, sir. Do it properly this time. No plea deals. Arrest everyone involved. Your term is almost over. It doesn't matter if your donors are unhappy."

Bush gave him a sharp look. "Be mindful of what you say. I'm still the President."

Robert resisted the urge to roll his eyes at the manchild standing in front of him, who was already being considered one of the worst presidents in American history before his term had even ended. Then suddenly, an idea came to him.

"You could take credit for sorting out this mess," Robert suggested. "Publicly announce that you instructed the FBI not to allow any plea deals in this case."

Bush thought about it for a moment before saying, "They will turn against you then. If I do this, you'll have to resign."

Robert smiled. "Then I'll resign. I'm sure I'll find another job."

(Break)

Mueller sat opposite me, with a relaxed face—a much more relaxed face than I was expecting.

"Is everything alright, Director?" I asked curiously.

"I won't be the director for long. I've been asked to vacate my office in a month," he said in a matter-of-fact tone. "All thanks to you."

"I'm sorry. That wasn't my intention," I said sincerely. I could tell he was a good one.

"I'm not blaming you," he clarified. "In fact, I'm happy. Now I'm free to do what I want. I'm tired of working for the government when they don't even value me."

I didn't say anything for a few moments, both of us sitting in the silence. When I couldn't take it anymore, I finally asked, "What about the Epstein case?"

This time, Mueller smiled. He actually smiled.

"You caused a riot," he said.

My grin matched his as he explained, "These last two days, people have been rioting in the streets in D.C. and New York. Remember, this is an election year. The opposition leaders were right there with them, giving speeches and pressuring the President to act. And he finally did."

"My department has made fifteen arrests in the last two days, compared to zero in the last two years. Among those arrested are Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and several of their accomplices, including four top-level politicians from both red and blue parties. You might be interested to know that even a few Hollywood top-level executives were arrested as well. We also have arrest warrants for billionaire hotelier Ronald Chump and Prince Andrew of Britain. Conveniently, both of them are overseas right now, but as soon as they set foot on American soil, they'll be arrested."

No wonder Chump donated a million dollars to my charity. Asshole. As if that would protect him.

"So that's it then?" I asked. "It's over now?"

It couldn't be that easy.

"It will take a few weeks for us to make all the arrests," he replied. "In the meantime, it would be appreciated if you didn't make any more splashes in the media. The press secretary of the President will release a statement in a few days, but other than that, yes. It's mostly over."

It felt anticlimactic to me. I had just released one video, and everything fell into place. I didn't know why, but I had been expecting a bit more drama.

"Alright, I'll do as you suggested," I agreed to Mueller's request.

As I looked at him, I couldn't help but think it would be a shame for such a dedicated man to no longer serve the public. Suddenly, an idea came to me.

"Would you like to work for me?" I asked before I could change my mind. "I run a few companies and am in the process of acquiring more. You could be in charge of maintaining their security, or take on any other position that interests you."

He mulled it over before saying, "I'll have to think about it."

"Sure, take your time."

He left not long after that, leaving me to consider the offer I had just made. If he started working for me, it would send a quiet but clear message that I believed in his innocence. Not to mention, Mueller's political connections were unparalleled. Having him on my team could prove invaluable to the work ahead.
