Chapter 573 - Chapter 573

Staring at the red mechanical gauntlet before them, the Avengers wore strange expressions.

Why did this thing look so much like one of Tony's suits?

They didn't want to admit it, but no matter how they looked at it, the resemblance was undeniable.

Not far away, Syd naturally heard their discussion and glanced at them.

They noticed, huh?

Well, it made sense. After all, this thing was based on the gauntlet Tony would create in the future—of course it shared the same style.

Thinking about it, he couldn't help but once again marvel at the power of divine creation.

Even though he knew nothing about mechanics, as long as he had a clear image in his mind, a basic design and idea, his divine crafting power could bring it into existence.

It was a process that completely disregarded scientific principles—creating something from nothing in the truest sense.

In a way, it carried the very essence of omnipotence and creation from nothing!

God's power of creation was worthy of the name!

Seeing them still stunned over the gauntlet and unable to decide who would wield it, Syd frowned slightly and decided to clarify.

"Stop guessing. I created this based on the gauntlet you'll make in the future," he said, eyes falling directly on Tony.

The mysterious, cosmic-truth-like voice left everyone frozen.

They were all left in disbelief.

Especially Tony—his face was full of shock.

This thing… was made according to the gauntlet he would design in the future?

Even though Syd had said it outright, the implications were still overwhelming.

Not to mention the paradox of creating something from the future—just the technological sophistication of the gauntlet was immense. And yet Syd replicated it?

That meant either Syd's technological understanding was equally advanced…

Or he'd created it purely based on imagination?

The former was acceptable, but if it was the latter…

Tony took a deep breath, feeling his scientific worldview start to crack.

"Are all Gods of Creation this ridiculous…?" he muttered in disbelief.

After a while, everyone gradually calmed down.

Now, they began discussing who should be the one to snap using the mechanical Infinity Gauntlet.

At that moment, the chubby Thor raised his hand. "I'll do it."

The others were startled.

"Hey! Stop right there!"

"Thor, wait!"

Seeing him about to approach the gauntlet, Captain America, Hawkeye, and the others rushed to stop him.

Captain America tried to politely dissuade him. "We haven't decided who's going to use it yet."

"So we just sit here and do nothing?" Thor frowned. "Staring into space isn't going to bring everyone back."

"I'm the strongest Avenger. This responsibility has to fall on me!"

Thor said a lot, but Tony and the others still weren't convinced.

Thor wasn't in the right state right now—he still hadn't pulled himself together. Given his current out-of-shape form, they were genuinely worried that one snap might cost him his life.

As the debate continued, Banner finally spoke up. "Let me do it. You all saw what happened to Thanos—the Stones nearly killed him. None of you can handle that kind of power!"

"How do you know you can?" Captain America frowned.

"I don't." Banner shook his head. "But the radiation these Stones emit is primarily gamma…"

As soon as he said that, realization dawned on everyone.

Banner had transformed because of a gamma radiation experiment—he was, without question, the most resistant to it among them.

At the very least, he could withstand more than anyone else.

Everyone fell silent.

Banner picked up the mechanical Infinity Gauntlet with both hands and said, "Let's do this."

Tony gave a serious reminder. "Remember—everyone Thanos wiped out five years ago, you need to bring them back. Bring them to now, to today!"

"Don't change anything from the past five years!"

"I've got it," Banner nodded firmly.

With that, Tony and the others hurried to prepare.

"Friday, activate containment mode!"

The mechanical voice responded.

"Yes, boss."

Metal plates descended from all around the room, sealing them inside to prevent catastrophic damage if anything went wrong.

Those with suits immediately put them on, ready for anything.

As for Syd, he simply watched with a calm expression, making no move to help.

Even if something went wrong with the Infinity Gauntlet—or if all six Stones activated at once—he could withstand it.

His abstract concept body might reside in another universe, but that didn't mean his level had dropped below that of a single-universe god.

If he wanted, he could instantly call upon the power of his 616 Prime Universe concept body.

There might be a bit of a delay or weakening effect—that much was true.

But no matter how weakened, it would still be far beyond the combined force of the six Infinity Stones.

Most importantly, the six Stones in question were created from his own divine power—not natural ones—so it would be incredibly difficult for them to even scratch him.

Under everyone's watchful eyes, Hulk Banner put on the mechanical Infinity Gauntlet.

"Let everyone come back…"

He muttered to himself, focusing his mind on the thought.

At the same time, as soon as he wore the gauntlet, a massive surge of multicolored energy erupted instantly. Banner dropped to the ground in agony, groaning and writhing in pain.

The colorful rays of light crackled like dense bolts of lightning.

The power of the Stones burned through him. His right arm quickly turned black and charred.

Seeing this, Thor panicked. "Something's wrong! Take it off—now!"

"Wait!" Captain America stopped him. "Banner, can you hold on?"

"Say something, Banner!" Tony urged urgently.

As the group grew nervous and chaotic, Syd off to the side couldn't help but purse his lips and shake his head.

"I should've strengthened that glove a bit…"

This wasn't his fault, really. His divine crafting power had faithfully reproduced Tony's future gauntlet.

At the end of the day, the flaw was in Tony's original design.

It made him appreciate just how skilled the Dwarven King's forge had been.

Tony's version might look like an Infinity Gauntlet—but it was little more than a container for the Stones.

In contrast, the Dwarven-made gauntlet actually protected its user and allowed for much better control over the Stones' power.

You could tell just by the expressions—Banner was in agony, while Thanos, though pained, still had a hint of grim satisfaction when using his gauntlet.
