By the end of April, a five-day holiday was approaching. The family of three packed their bags, boarded a flight, and went overseas to find Yu Xi.
There was no direct flight to L-City, so they had to transfer midway. The round trip was an ordeal of over forty hours. By the time they arrived, both mother and daughter were exhausted.
"Dad, Mom, Xiaobao!"
In the distance, the figures of Yu Xi and Shao Yang appeared, instantly sweeping away Zhang Yuxi and Xiaobao's fatigue. Xiaobao, in particular, perked up immediately.
With a patter of feet, she ran over. "Sister! Sister!"
Yu Xi was surprised. "Xiaobao, you've grown so tall?" Having been around her every day, she hadn't really noticed, but now, taking a good look, she realized how much she had grown.
Xiaobao flashed a broad smile. "Yeah, yeah! Mom said I might become a giantess in the future."
Yu Xi chuckled. "I was thinking of giving you a hug, but I don't think I could even lift you now."
