Zhang Yuxi arrived at school and grew concerned when she noticed Tang Xiufen hadn't come in.
Han Wen came over and whispered, "I called Teacher Tang. She went to handle the divorce proceedings with her husband today."
"Will she come back in the afternoon?"
"It depends. If things go smoothly, she'll return; otherwise, it might be delayed by a day."
After the meeting, just before noon, Tang Xiufen arrived. She seemed different, but it was hard to pinpoint exactly how. With a radiant smile, Tang Xiufen greeted Zhang Yuxi and Han Wen.
"Let's go. I'm treating you both to lunch today."
"Sure, but it has to be a big feast!"
"Absolutely no problem!"
Tang Xiufen was very generous, letting Han Wen and Zhang Yuxi order whatever they desired. Zhang Yuxi didn't particularly enjoy eating out anymore. Her palate had been spoiled by Lin Feng, and since she hadn't gone grocery shopping the night before, he hadn't prepared her lunch.
