After lunch, Lin Feng brought the babies back to the bedroom on the second floor. Zhang Yuxi followed, changed into loose pajamas, and began to nurse one of them.
During a break in the feeding, Zhang Yuxi looked at Lin Feng, her expression puzzled. "What's the deal with Chuan Chuan?" she asked. "How did he suddenly get better?"
Lin Feng smiled. "Didn't I tell you? A miracle happened!"
That answer wasn't what she wanted.
Lin Feng looked down at Zhang Yuxi and teased, "Didn't this miracle happen to you, too?"
At his words, Zhang Yuxi's pretty face flushed, and she couldn't meet his eyes.
Cradling the second baby, she changed the subject. "Honey, have you noticed? The babies seem completely different once they reach six months old."
"Of course. After six months, they'll change every single day!"
