This change nearly convinced Guanyin that the Westward Journey was doomed to fail. Unexpectedly, the unreliable Chen Sanzang, who appeared to be careless and even practiced Joyful Zen without taking the rules and regulations of the Buddhist Sect seriously,
still possessed an innate Buddha Nature that remained unchanged, with a body of pure Buddha Essence comparable even to the Buddha.
Watching the devoutly worshipping Chen Sanzang at this moment, Guanyin was able to let go of most of her concerns.
