Guo Shuiyu's eyes held no warmth. "Why save me?"
Yunyi sighed softly inwardly, her thoughts turning to Qiao'er's mother. "Haven't you already made your choice? Are you thinking of backing out again?"
At Yunyi's words, Guo Shuiyu's head shot up to meet her eyes. "What do you know?"
Seeing her tense up, Yunyi responded, "I just happened to run into Qiao'er's mother and figured it out myself. Don't worry, I won't spread it around."
Relieved by these words, Guo Shuiyu finally relaxed. "I indeed can't back out anymore; otherwise, I'm afraid my three children will also meet a bad end."
Yunyi patted her rough hand. "Everything will pass. Sleep well."
