It was a long weekend due to a holiday this coming Monday next week. I decided to visit him on the set before 6:00 am. I wonder he was doing now. He didn't call or text me last night.
I packed all of the foods for pur breakfast. I know that he couldn't eat somewhere. I added his snacks too. I made his favorite cucumber drink as his refreshment.
Suddenly, my phone rang while riding a bus. I didn't answer his call because I'm mad at him not telling me where or how he was last night. "I'll pretend I'm asleep."
After a long ride, I went there to his camp site where his team and his co-actors were there. It was cold when I arrived. I wore my jacket with hood to protect myself from the cold weather. I roamed my eyes where he built his tent.
"There you are." I was smiling at the navy blue tent in front of me, not far away from where I was standing. I ran to get there but to my surprise, I saw him with a woman. She was wearing a tank top and shorts. I wonder how she didn't get cold.
"Please, stop this!" I heard his voice. It was my first time to see him mad after long years being with him.
"I can't stop myself from being clumsy. May I borrow your jacket, please?"
"Keep yourself cold. I don't tolerate people being dumb." He shut her up and there I was standing, froze for a moment and hid behind a big tree.
"What is he doing with her?" Then, I heard my phone rang again. "Oh, shocks!" I shut my eyes and I pretended I arrived late.
Nick went out when he heard a phone ringing outside. On the other side, the woman I saw was in front of me. She was looking at me with her glaring stare. "Have you seen everything?"
I shook my head. "I arrived here a minute ago."
"Stop lying! I know you saw us ." She rolled her eyes and sighed.
"What? I didn't saw you. Do you have anything in secret?"
She bit her lower lip and smirked. "Stop being a liar! I saw you with my two eyes."
Nick ran to my side. He hid me behind his back. "What's happening?"
"Eh, that girl saw us."
"And so?"
"She's an enemy."
"Stop being like that. She's not any or another."
Nick was right. I am no other. I am his.
"Who's she?"
"My girlfriend."
Her jaw dropped. "As if she is? She looks so ugly. Why don't you have an eye check up? I'm the one who's beautiful here. You've got bad eyes. Bye!"
I was stunned at what he said. He opposed her as if I am his own. It wasn't the first time he protected me. My heart! I kept on touching my heart.
"What happened to you?" Nick was calm holding my shoulders.
"I am happy to see you again. I miss you, Nick!" I gave him a tight hug. He chuckled as he was caressing my back.
"Me too." He kissed my shoulder gently and he told me to sit. "What made you travel here?"
"I'm returning the effort you give. Look, I prepared your breakfast today."
Our breakfast was cold but warm. I mean that I felt his warmth. His score as my boyfriend is getting higher. I wish he could be the one who loves me forever. I wish that I am right choosing him.
My fears were fading as I know him more. He opened himself to me and so I did.
The scheming woman was out of her tent. She changed her clothes by wearing black jacket. She glared at us. I pretended not to see her that way. I smiled at Nick.
"Do you need some help?"
"I can do this alone. You should prepare for your next shoot. I'm going home after this."
Before I finish my words, he began to help me. No, he finished packing all the things we used. He kissed me on my cheek. "It's my present for you. I thank you for having a breakfast with you. So sweet girl."
His eyes were squinting as he chuckled.
"Stop making some noise here."
"It's okay. I can manage my noise. All I can see now is you."
" Stop being cheesy." I was pissed by his teasing. "Here's your reviewer. Make sure you prepare too."
"Of course, I want to be with you in the same university."
"Good."
"How about my kiss?" He pointed to his cheek and I gave him a kiss quickly.
"You need to go!" I pushed him but he managed to stole a kiss from my lips. My heart began to sank when I saw him running back to his tent.
Wait! What am I thinking? I'm getting cheesy too.
I went to the bus stop to wait for the next ride of a bus. I felt the wind getting warmer as the sun shone bright. My head was getting hurt as I felt dizziness and migraine. "What did I do? I hope I didn't drink a cup of coffee before going here."
"Nana!" Someone called me. I saw him wearing a jacket and everything went black. "Nana, please wake up. I'm here."
"What are you doing here? I thought you have your work today."
He touched my nose. "I know you're suffering from migraine so here's your medicine."
"How did you know?"
"Father's instinct."
I laughed out loud. "Wait, are you saying that to make me a fool?"
"Maybe, a fool for me?"
"Stop saying things like that. So cheesy!"
He went back when he stole a kiss from my lips again. Instead of getting pissed, I honestly crave for more. "When is he going to kiss me for real?"
I shook my head as the nex ride was in front of me. I sat down to the nearest seat and the bus made its route back to the city. It was a long ride and fun. His kisses made me excited for more.
"Wait, stop!"
The bus stopped. When I realized I was riding a bus, it was embarrassing. I made it clear that I was mistakenly said it. I apologized to what I did.
"The long ride is over. I'm home." I went to my bed to have enough sleep. My body ached for a long time sitting.
