Chapter 55 - DAY 6 - 3RD WAVE OF DOOM

On Planet Isha, deep within Black Paradise, Yunbam stirs awake. His eyes flutter open to see his robot father standing next to him.

"Son… you're awake!" Wade's metallic voice trembles with relief as he stands tall. "I need to catch you up on things."

Moments later, near Black Paradise, the bustling B&B Town hums under the protection of a glowing digital barrier. Inside the B&B building, in a wide meeting room filled with cables and humming monitors, Hank and Basil—now in his robotic body—sit before a massive digital screen. The feed shows only chaotic, colorful explosions from the energy realm.

Basil slams his metallic fist on the table.

"What the hell is going on with Boa?! Get up—without you, Project Soul can't be complete!"

Hank sips his coffee calmly, unfazed.

"Keep your honor steady. I'm sure he'll pull through."

The doors swing open. Wade enters, pushing Yunbam in a wheelchair.

"Yunbam!" Hank and Basil rush forward, embracing him. Basil ruffles his hair with a digital smile.

"You're finally awake… New Boa."

Before Yunbam can answer, Susan materializes as a shimmering digital projection above the table.

"It's still only the first stage of the Star Games," she says coolly. "And it doesn't look good for either of our parties."

Basil glares at her, his voice sharp.

"How is your all-mighty King struggling?!"

Susan's form flickers, but her tone remains steady.

"My King is near incredible… but still he's only a mortal. No mortal is perfect, no plan unfolds without flaw. We prepared for these factor. As you mortals say… have faith. Even miracles can go beyond numbers and stats."

Yunbam leans forward, his voice heavy with both gratitude and anger.

"I am the new Boa—and you should already know, we already crossed path. I thank you for your aid… but I will never forgive you, or your King, for the lives your data creatures took from my people. Do you even know how many have died?"

The room grows tense. Hank places a hand on Yunbam's shoulder, steadying him.

"I know it's difficult… but they had their reasons. Without them, Project Soul could never move forward."

Yunbam exhales deeply, his gaze hardening with resolve.

"There is so much still beyond my understanding… but my honor will not falter. If both our parties now walk the same path, then I will not question your motives any further. May we all succeed in our plans."

Susan inclines her head.

"When the time comes, you'll understand everything, young mortal. Until then… we wait. We watch. And we hope they fulfill their part of the plan."

On Doom Planet, the night sky tears itself apart. Rifts split the heavens, the ground quakes violently, and the seas rise in monstrous surges—natural disasters devour the planet piece by piece.

In the digital world, Gilga stands before Taeo with a small robot hovering beside him.

"This is Huego," Gilga explains, pride in his voice. "My most advanced creation. A highly intelligent AI that carries fragments of me, Gaia, and you. With the resources we've been pulling from the dungeon—plus a fragment of the robotic dragon's core—Huego can produce energy beyond what any city could dream of. Its processing speed rivals the levels of Ultra Syndicate. It can adapt to any situation, drawing from the infinite anti-matter in space. There's only one drawback…" He pauses. "It's a one-time use. And that time is now."

Huego spins playfully in the air, its digital eyes gleaming.

Taeo whistles, impressed.

"You spent six days on this? This little guy could replace all of us—and probably handle the Grand Plan by himself. Shame he has to waste that brilliance on the Third Wave of Doom. We're counting on you, Huego."

Huego chirps with a smile, then darts through a glowing portal into the real world.

It rockets skyward, weaving between dimensional tears and roaring storms until it breaks into space. Slowly, it drifts toward the looming darkened moon sphere. Pausing in orbit, Huego begins scanning—processing billions of solutions in mere seconds with the combined brilliance of Gaia, Gilga, and Taeo.

In the digital world, countless screens flood with streams of code and schematics. Taeo and Gilga watch, awestruck.

"He's faster than us," Taeo mutters.

Gilga nods. "Even I'd need time to analyze that much data."

Suddenly, sunlight creeps over Doom Planet's horizon. The first rays land onto the atmosphere—and the dark moon stirs, descending. Huego halts. Its calculations are complete.

On the screen, lines of data converge into one word: A World of Darkness.

Taeo's eyes narrow.

"The Third Wave… is darkness."

Gilga exhales loudly. "Even Huego can't get rid of the third wave itself. It probably needed more time for the amount of power it needs to generate to completely beat the third wave. At best… he can destroy thirty percent of it."

Huego dives back down to the planet, its form shifting—data streams wrapping and multiplying until it towers above the land. A colossal cannon takes shape, so massive it dwarfs the ruins beneath it. Its core burns with gathered anti-matter and sun energy.

Taeo points at the screens as another Huego fragment splits off, soaring toward the sun.

"It's also has another plan at hand, it's gathering the power of the sun!"

The cannon hums, power surging until the planet itself trembles. Then—

A beam of pure destruction erupts skyward, wide as mountains, slamming into the descending moon. Thirty percent of it vaporizes instantly.

But momentum carries the rest. The moon crashes into the cannon, obliterating it in a catastrophic detonation.

From the sky pours a black waterfall—dark energy raining down in torrents. Chunks of the shattered moon plummet, each impact detonating in massive dark explosions across the planet.

Gilga bursts from the digital realm in his mecha, shifting mid-flight into the mighty Robotic Dragon. He roars, unleashing a beam of energy to deflect a falling chunk toward a forest, where it explodes in a blinding flare of darkness.

But the rain doesn't stop. Explosions tear through the land, waterfalls of black energy veil the sky until sunlight itself is smothered.

Then—the largest fragment plunges into the ocean.

The sea boils black as the impact splits the seabed. A colossal dark explosion ripples through the depths, the chunk sinking lower and lower—until it streaks toward the planet's core.

In the golden gate realm, Gaia watches through her headset as dozens of digital screens display the chaos on Doom Planet. Her eyes widen at the scale of destruction—the third wave has begun.

Gaia switches on her comms.

"Everyone, gather at the rendezvous. We only have seven minutes before everything collapses!"

She glances upward. Through the clouds, Rose reaches the top platform and places her hand on a golden torch. Gaia then flies upwards in her mecha suit but suddenly Rose vanishes inside a blinding golden explosion from the torch that pushes Gaia back.

The dungeon trembles violently. Many Cyan Spark workers runs and captains drives diggers sprint toward the rendezvous.

From a stairwell, Hopper bursts out, a digital tether attached to Ortis and Yuri, dragging them along. Debris crashes all around. Ortis groans as his body scrapes against rubble.

"Careful!"

Yuri yawns despite the chaos.

"Can I just close my eyes for another five minutes, please?"

Hopper pulls the strings tight, twisting them mid-run to shield his two burdens from falling stone.

"We're not going to make it at this pace!"

"Leave us behind then!" Ortis shouts.

"No!" Yuri cries. "After everything, we can't die like this!"

Ortis glares at him. "Moments ago, you were proud to die with me!"

Tears streak Yuri's dirty face.

"That was then! After actually experiencing it, I don't want to feel it again!"

A sudden roar of thrusters—Gaia swoops down in her mecha suit, scooping all three into her arms. She rockets them down the endless silver stairway, exiting the silver gates into a massive chamber where the everyone else has gathered.

Gaia hovers to the center, activates her core, and unleashes a shimmering data field. Two lasers burst from her arms, holding open a massive portal that warps and flickers under strain.

"Everyone—go! Now!"

Cyan Spark workers, diggers, and Stars rush into the glowing gateway.

Hopper yanks the digital strings, carrying Ortis and Yuri closer—but Ortis suddenly stops, grabbing onto debris.

"Wait! Where's Rose?! We can't leave her behind!"

Shaking, Yuri forces himself upright.

"You can't wait. I'll go on ahead and spend the rest of my life with Lady Gaia alive!" He stumbles forward—then trips hard.

Hopper catches him. "We don't have time! Only four minutes left!"

Ortis rips off Hopper's tether and begins crawling back toward the silver stairway. His voice breaks.

"I know the smartest move is to run, but if I abandon her, it'll scar me for the rest of the Star Games. I've already lost too much!"

"Ortis!" Hopper shouts, eyes wide.

Yuri stammers, "He's… really going back for her!"

Gaia strains to keep the portal open, sweat dripping down her face inside the helmet.

"Rose is stuck in a trance! She touched a mini Chosen power. She's unreachable. I'm sure she'll be fine with her new powers!"

"But Ortis just went back for her!" Hopper growls.

Gaia bites her lip, the portal shrinking by the second.

"No! Taeo and Gilga are draining a lot of resources to protect the city—I can't hold this much longer!"

Hopper hurls Yuri through the portal. "Stay alive!" Then he charges towards the silver stairway after Ortis.

He finds him trapped under fallen rubble. Hopper rushes forward, grabbing one side. Ortis, bloodied and shaking, grabs the other. Together they strain, veins bulging, and shove the debris aside.

But before they can breathe, another massive chunk of wall crashes down on top of them. Hopper catches the weight, trembling, teeth gritted. More debris crashes onto the pile, forcing him to one knee.

Ortis slowly rises beside him, planting his hands against the stone.

Together, both men push—refusing to let the other fall.

In the castle's throne room, the green gates is torn open, spewing waves of pulsing energy that rattle the chamber.

Tomi catches Vel as she stumbles.

"We've been in this dungeon for so long," Vel gasps, "I forgot about the third Doom Wave!"

The gates roar brighter. Crank and Jen exchange a glance, then sprint straight into the swirling chaos.

"Wait!" Tomi shouts, but they're already gone. His jaw tightens. "We should escape, but… we can't leave Kayle behind!" His voice breaks into a growl. "Shit… are we going to die in the first stage of the Star Games?!"

He drags Vel along. "Fuck it!" And together, they leap into the pulsing green light.

They plunge into the energy realm—a world of swirling explosions and collapsing skies. Tomi slams against the ground, dazed, and looks up just in time to see Nox and Lars clashing. Lars unleashes thousands of energy blast punches, a blizzard of fists streaking across the realm. Nox blocks each strike with a single tool—his massive diamond shovel, sparks of light flashing with every deflection.

Nearby, Ignis stands firm, his fire magic spiraling into a blazing shield as he guards the unconscious Boa. Razor-sharp shards of ice rain down from Lars's wand, shattering against Ignis's inferno.

Jen charges to their side, while Crank staggers forward before collapsing to his knees. Suddenly, a voice echoes in his skull—deep, ancient, commanding:

"Protect the Lady of the Planet!"

Crank snaps his head up. Across the realm, the ghostly form of a massive T-Rex—the Omega of the Old Pack—lies fading into mist. Its colossal spirit surges into Crank's body, merging with him. His eyes burn as raw primal power courses through his veins.

Vel lifts her gaze and pales. Above, the energy realm tears apart as liquid darkness pours through the cracks, flooding in like a storm.

Before she can call it out, Tomi sees Kayle—locked in a desperate duel against the King himself. His magic sword, wreathed in both dark and green energy, batters through Kayle's defenses. She staggers, struggling to hold on.

"Kayle!" Tomi roars, sprinting toward her without hesitation.

Vel clutches her head, trembling.

"This is too much! This is even crazier than the Disaster Dragons!"

In the dungeon, Gaia strains, her arms locked in place as the portal wavers. Only 18 seconds remain.

"Come on, guys!" she roars, her voice echoing over the collapsing stone.

At the 10-second mark, her strength falters. The portal flickers violently, then snaps shut. Gaia spins toward the silver stairway, debris littering the path like jagged teeth.

With 1 second left, the darkness crashes into the dungeon, swallowing everything. She blasts the debris with a surge of energy—but the wave of darkness hits her anyway, enveloping her in darkness.

In the energy realm, Crank roars, transforming into the spiritual T-Rex, his massive form shielding the Lady of the Planet from the falling dark liquid. The corruption spreads in black waves above them.

Suddenly, the dark pool churns violently. The Lady of the Planet emerges—but her form is twisted, corrupted by the darkness. A pulse of shadow energy erupts from her, washing across the realm in a destructive tide.

Everyone is hit by the wave of darkness like a tsunami.

Suddenly, from the heart of the planet, a massive dark energy pillar erupts, surging skyward like a black volcano. Its core pulses with pure corruption, spreading darkness in all directions, consuming forests, oceans, and cities alike.

The skies blacken even more as the darkness flows like liquid, pouring into every valley and canyon. Winds howl violently, carrying shards of dark energy that tear through mountains and stone. Rivers boil and oceans churn, turning into swirling black maelstroms under the pillar's influence, covering the entire planet in darkness.
