Vel screams as the massive hammer of the robotic dwarf crashes down, pinning her in place. All around, Stars and golems fall one by one beneath the relentless assault of the robotic dwarves.
Nearby, Tomi struggles beneath the crushing weight of the robotic orc's foot, the monster's blood sword rising above him for the killing blow.
Kayle slams against the wall, battered by the combined barrage of the robotic fairy's light and water attacks, the summoner's magic chains, and the turret's lasers. She coughs blood, body trembling—
—when suddenly sparks erupt across the chamber.
Robotic parts fly apart as Jen darts in, her twin daggers flashing, shredding the metal dwarves piece by piece.
"I guess we are fated to meet again!" she snarls.
Crank barrels forward, his arm swelling into a colossal ape fist. He smashes the robotic orc aside, freeing Tomi.
Ignis descends from above in a blaze of fire, landing a blazing kick that sends the robotic fairy hurtling backward.
The turret whirs, locking onto a new target. It unleashes a storm of lasers, but the beams pass harmlessly through a colossal spiritual arm forcing its way into the chamber.
The summoner reacts instantly, her chains lashing out, binding around the massive glowing limb. She becomes more stressed, straining to hold it in place.
From the shadows—Boa steps forward.
The dwarf's eyes widen.
"Master, I must risk it all before we both fall here!"
With a roar, the dwarf slams his hammer into the ground. White energy floods his body as half of him twists into robotic form, glowing painfully. His eyes burn like stars. From his back, a single mechanical angel wing unfurls. His hammer gleams, turning pure white.
"This is the power of death," the dwarf growls. "The power that took everything from me!"
With an explosive surge of energy, the dwarf launches upward, colliding with Boa midair. White and yellow sparks rip across the chamber as their clash cracks the very walls.
Boa's eyes widen as he's forced back.
"What is this power?!"
In the next instant, the dwarf overpowers him, sending Boa crashing into the wall in a burst of white magic.
The dwarf doubles over, coughing in pain.
"You're not strong enough to use that power!" the summoner shouts, deflecting one of Kayle's green arrows with her chains.
"I'll do whatever it takes!" the dwarf roars back. "I will not fail you, master!"
He raises his robotic arm, now glowing white-hot, and points across the chamber.
Ignis charges the robotic fairy again.
"We meet again! This time you'll burn even more!"
He slams a fire punch into her chest, melting through her frame—
—but the fairy's body shatters apart as the dwarf instantly teleports behind Ignis. His other arm, now black and twisted, absorbs the fairy's broken remains, fusing to his body. Black robotic armor encases his arm.
The dwarf raises it, unleashing a finger water beam straight into Ignis's back, slamming him to the ground.
Across the chamber, the robotic blood orc boots Crank into a wall, then hurls its blood sword toward Jen. She parries desperately with her daggers, sparks flying. The orc snarls, seizing her and slamming her hard into the floor before punching Vel into a crumbling golem.
The orc leaps, towering over Kayle, summoning his blood sword.
He swings—
—but a strange box suddenly appears around Kayle, blocking the attack. It pops open, revealing a clown face. The clown honks its massive red nose, blinding the orc with a searing flash of crimson light.
Kayle bursts free, bow drawn.
"Begone!"
Her green arrow pierces the orc, detonating its body into shards of blood-soaked metal.
But before she can breathe, the dwarf teleports in front of her in a black flash. His corrupted arm absorbs the orc's remains, forging them into his frame. A massive blood sword manifests in his black robotic grip.
He swings it at Kayle—
—but Tomi rushes in, blocking with his umbrella. Sparks explode as the blade cuts through him.
"Tomi!" Kayle screams as he collapses. Rage consumes her.
Her bow glows brighter than ever. She fires a massive green arrow, aiming straight for the dwarf's heart—
—but in a burst of white light, the arrow shatters midair.
A blast of white energy slams into Kayle, hurling her into the wall.
She gasps, trembling, eyes wide.
"What… what was that?!"
The dwarf, now half-clad in gleaming white armor and half in jagged black plating, straightens his broken frame. His body flickers, teleporting back to the summoner's side.
He raises his warped palm.
Three small spheres of green planetary magic shimmer into existence above it.
The summoner snatches them, her eyes blazing as she turns to the stairway.
"Father… I'm coming!"
Without another glance, she ascends, vanishing into the upper halls.
The dwarf collapses at the base of the steps, his split armor shattering piece by piece. Blood pours from his mouth as he lets out a rattling laugh.
"As always… master forgets to give me thanks. Maybe… maybe a simple 'good job' would've been enough… for my final moments."
Boa roars, lightning surging through him. He slashes his magic blade through the towering turret, shattering it in a crackling flash.
Across the chamber, Jen and Crank finish dismantling the last of the robotic dwarves, their metal shells collapsing in sparks. Ignis clenches his fists, flames patching over his wounds as Kayle kneels to heal Tomi's battered frame.
Vel and Boa advance, eyes narrowing on the broken dwarf.
But the warrior coughs, grips his hammer, and staggers upright.
"We are the last defensive line of this kingdom…" His voice rumbles, hoarse but unyielding. "Rise, my fellow comrades!"
The discarded black armor on the ground begins to tremble, then pulls itself together. The twisted forms of the robotic blood orc and robotic fairy reform, their eyes glowing with corrupted light.
The dwarf's bloodshot eyes glimmer as he lifts his hammer high.
"I'm surprised… that even you... have fallen."
He slams his hammer into the ground. Black radiance erupts—
—and from the void steps the robotic shade of Franz, the dark elf, his form wreathed in chains of shadow and light. He lowers into a fighting stance, silent, but brimming with fury.
Boa steadies his blade, his team rallying at his side. Electricity dances across his body, but his eyes flick upward.
On the far stairway, unnoticed by the others, Nox walks in silence, climbing step after step.
Boa then narrows his eyes at the dwarf.
With a mighty roar, Boa and his allies surge forward, colliding with the dwarf and his summoned army in an earth-shaking clash.
The summoner reaches the grand throne room, stumbling as she climbs the steps to the throne where a skeleton sits, clad in royal armor and a rusted crown.
"Father!" she cries. "I've brought you the power that can save us all!"
The three green spheres float upward, sinking into the king's skeleton. Flesh begins to knit over bone, muscles forming as his eyes snap open, glowing with green magic. Slowly, the king sits upright, his body radiating life once again.
"Finally…" he mutters, rising to his feet. "I've obtained her powers!"
He descends the steps, extending a hand. The summoner takes it eagerly, her voice trembling.
"Well done, my daughter…" the king says.
"Do it, Father! Before it's too late! God has already sent His goons after us. We must not be greedy. This power is enough to bring back our home!"
The king pauses mid-step, turning toward her. His eyes blaze with resolve.
"Greedy, we must be," he declares. "This is enough power, yes—but our home alone cannot satisfy my heart. Our universe has suffered far too much. A king like me must become more than a king… I must become a god and save the universe myself!"
The summoner clutches her hand, shaking her head.
"But Father! You've already failed once. We can't lose this opportunity again!"
"I know," the king replies, voice heavy. "But even if we bring our home back, they'll just return. They'll take it from us once more…"
He spreads his arms, power swirling around him.
"I must claim all of her powers—only then can I rival the gods themselves. Only then will no one ever disturb us again!"
Suddenly, a calm voice cuts through the hall.
"I know your pain all too well, King…"
The king turns. Standing in the doorway is Nox, his small black crown faintly gleaming.
"Have we met before?" the king asks.
Nox smirks, ignoring the question.
"Even though we share the same pain, you are in the way of my plans… because your plans are going to fail."
The king narrows his eyes, dismissing him. With a sweep of his hand, a massive green gate materializes behind the throne. He ascends the steps once more, passing his daughter.
"Be strong, daughter. I will not fail again."
The summoner raises her chains, summoning magic to block Nox's path.
"Father, wait!"
But the king steps through the green gates, vanishing.
Nox summons his shovel, gripping it tight as brown aura surges around him. He charges, tearing into the endless chains of magic.
Meanwhile, back in the main chamber—
Ignis melts the robotic fairy's body into liquid metal. Crank, Jen, Tomi, and Vel tear into the robotic blood orc, cutting it down piece by piece. Across the battlefield, Kayle struggles, pummeled by a storm of punches and kicks from the robotic dark elf, Franz.
Boa bursts in, lightning aura crackling, and slams a thunderous strike into the elf. The blast shakes the chamber. Kayle, catching her breath, looses a glowing green arrow.
The dwarf steps forward, blocking with his hammer—only for the arrow's power to shatter the weapon apart. The dwarf crashes into the stairway.
But Franz doesn't fall. He punches Boa aside with frightening force, his aura flaring even more intensely.
The dwarf lets out a ragged laugh, blood at his lips.
"He's the strongest of all Master's summons. Even with my death here… his spirit will carry out Master's final task…"
His eyes dim. Lifeless.
Kayle staggers to her feet, sweat dripping down her face.
"Where's Nox when you need him…? How did he even beat a foe like this?"
Boa rises beside her, eyes locked on Franz.
"Your friend already went on ahead. If he could take this elf down… then so can I!"
Franz suddenly explodes forward, unleashing thousands of magical punches and kicks continuously. The chamber erupts in a storm of explosions.
Boa summons his colossal spiritual avatar, its glowing form shielding the group from the barrage. Kayle draws back another arrow and fires, but Franz's strikes shatter it midair.
"He's so strong!" she gasps.
Ignis plants himself beside them, fire aura blazing.
"Then we take him down together!"
Kayle charges her arrow again. Boa and Ignis place their hands on her shoulders, pouring their power into her bow.
Tomi, Vel, Crank, and Jen rush to the front.
"We'll help too!" Tomi declares.
Jen grips her daggers, her aura bursting to life.
"Once you see an opening—take it!"
Crank transforms into a massive spiritual dire wolf, carrying Jen, Vel, and Tomi on his back. With incredible speed, he weaves through the storm of magical strikes.
Tomi channels his grey aura into Jen. She glows, her speed doubling. Yellow and grey intertwine, her daggers flashing so quickly they deflect dozens of incoming blows, forcing a path forward.
Crank lunges closer and closer. Tomi grips Jen's shoulder, straining as her arms blur, deflecting faster than ever.
At last they reach Franz. Vel leaps down, her voice breaking with desperation.
"Please stop!"
Her charm magic ripples through the air. Franz hesitates. For a fleeting moment, he sees her as Mel, his beloved. A single magical tear falls from his robotic eyes.
"Now, Kayle!" Tomi roars.
From within Boa's avatar, a divine arrow bursts forth—empowered by wind, fire, lightning, and spiritual energy. It pierces Franz's chest, carrying him backward up the stairway before detonating in a blinding explosion.
The chamber shakes. Silence follows.
Everyone collapses, drained. Vel clings to Tomi, tears in her eyes.
"We did it!"
Jen slumps against Crank's fur, barely able to lift her daggers.
"We're worn out…"
Boa, Kayle, and Ignis walks to the broken stairway. Ignis turns back.
"I'll heal the others. You two… go on ahead."
Boa says with confidence.
"Yeah… I'm not letting that guy take all the spotlight, that'll stain my honor."
Kayle glares at him, though her lips curl into a faint smile.
"Hey. That's my friend you're talking about. Let's hurry… I can already sense the battle above us has ended."
Boa and Kayle reach the top of the shattered steps, stepping through the broken gates into the throne room. Destruction sprawls across the chamber—walls split open, stone pillars crumbled, the floor scarred by countless strikes of magic.
On the throne steps, the summoner lies slumped, her body trembling, her eyes filled with desperation as they flicker toward them. Her lips part as if to speak, but only a shallow breath escapes before her body fades into particles of light.
Boa and Kayle exchange a silent look, then turn toward the massive green gates pulsing behind the throne. With steady resolve, they step through.
On the other side, an otherworldly realm unfolds. A spiral tunnel stretches endlessly, walls and air both glowing with swirling emerald light. Magic hums in the air, thick and heavy.
Boa slows his pace, staring at the tunnel's shimmering veins of energy.
"We've arrived… this is the planet's realm. The one who's been calling us—she's here."
Kayle whispers under her breath, awestruck.
"The lady of the planet…"
Suddenly, the entire realm quakes violently. Cracks rip through the tunnel walls. They push forward in a rush, the spiral opening wider until at last it bursts into a vast chamber.
Before them, two figures clash at the center—Nox, wielding his diamond shovel with devastating force, locked in a brutal duel with the resurrected king, whose magic sword burns with viridian flames. Every strike shakes the realm itself, shockwaves tearing fissures into the emerald sky above.
Boa and Kayle shield their faces from the storm of magic. Then—
A voice cuts through the chaos. Gentle, but heavy with power.
"Over here…"
They turn, dodging a nearby explosion, drawn toward the densest part of the green energy. There, kneeling at the heart of it all, a woman materializes. Her entire form radiates with green magic, her figure wavering like a spirit on the edge of collapse.
She falls to her knees, her voice trembling as she looks up at them.
"You… both of you… you're here at last…"
