Chapter 577 - Chapter 577: Let the Lesson Begin

Clap! Clap!

"Well done, my children! Well done!" My voice echoed in the fortress as I greeted my daughters and my knights. "You've exceeded all my expectations."

The Harbingers of Silence immediately dropped to one knee, their right hands clasped over their hearts in a gesture of absolute fealty. Their red sigils pulsed with a steady, contented light.

The Valkyries, my winged daughters, descended from the smoky sky, landing with a silent grace that belied their raw power. Their armor, once a comforting gold to the enemy, now glinted with a darker, more possessive light in my presence. Their leader, the one who had toyed with Gideon, stepped forward.

"We live to serve, Mother," Eir, my firstborn Valkyrie, said, her voice a melodious purr. Her helmet was gone, revealing a face of breathtaking, cold beauty, her silver hair cascading over her pauldrons. "The old paladin's spirit is... surprisingly resilient. I thought he would break."

"His faith is a shield, not a weapon," I said, walking past them towards the captured Grandmaster. "And a shield can be shattered."

I stopped before Gideon, who was unconscious like the rest of the captured paladins and inquisitors. I made my daughters spare no more than half. They will be useful.

I looked down at him, at the legendary commander, one of the three pillars of the kingdom of Vandor.

The other two pillars were the current king and his nobles, and the Church of Uriel with their high priestess.

The Holy Paladin Grandmaster was the military strength of the kingdom. He was the one who led their armies, the one who trained their soldiers, the one who inspired them with his unwavering faith.

He was a symbol. A very, very important symbol.

And he was now mine.

"I bet the kingdom would pay a hefty price to get their beloved Grandmaster back," I mused, my fingers tapping on my chin.

"He is a strong one," Eir said, her eyes gleaming with a predator's light. "He would make a fine addition to our ranks. With the proper... persuasion, of course."

"Patience, my dear," I said with a chuckle. "We don't want to break him. Not yet. We want to... reshape him. To make him see the light. Our light."

"You mean the one between your legs, Mother?" one of my new Valkyrie daughters asked, her voice filled with a youthful, teasing innocence.

"Hey!" Eir snapped, though a small smile played on her lips. "Show some respect."

"What?" she said, shrugging her shoulders. "It's true, isn't it? That's how we all... came to be."

"HAHAHAHA!" I couldn't help but laugh. My daughters were something else. They were deadly, beautiful, and had a very... unique sense of humor.

To break the faith of the paladins, I called one hundred newly born Valkyries and three thousand Harbingers of Silence.

The Valkyries I called were the ones that had golden or white wings resembling angels of Uriel. I also made their armor gold and white, with a very faint red color on the edges of their armor.

The Harbingers of Silence wore black armor with red skull sigils. They chose it, and I liked it, so I didn't change it.

The plan was simple. The Harbingers of Silence would attack the fortress, acting as the main force, the physical threat, the unstoppable juggernaut.

The Valkyries would wait for the right moment to appear, to strike at the hearts of the paladins, to shatter their faith, to sow the seeds of doubt and despair.

It was a two-pronged attack. A combination of physical and psychological warfare.

However, the most effective attack that pretty much ruined the whole crusade for the humans started from the moment they stepped off that teleportation platform.

You see, from the moment Lilith's protective barrier shattered, my influence on the world as a goddess has been growing by the day. My reach, my power, my presence... were seeping into the very fabric of reality.

The "bad luck" they experienced was not just random chance. It was me. A little push here, a little nudge there. A heatwave, a sandstorm, a polluted river, some haunting sounds, spoiled food... a collection of small, annoying curses that wore them down, broke their morale, and made them question everything.

The best was that the very air they breathed was filled with a corrosive energy that slowly, almost unnoticeably, ate their magic, strength, and life force away.

Not only that, but I had a home-field advantage buff. While in my territory, my 'units' would receive a 50% boost to their stats. The hostile 'units' would get a 20% debuff.

It was just that I controlled that debuff, slowly raising it from 0% to 20% over the course of four days. That way, no one noticed themselves getting weaker; they would just feel like they were getting exhausted from the long march and the 'bad luck'.

"Alright." I clapped my hands, getting everyone's attention. "Phase two of the plan begins now. Let's hope some of those holy fuckers still have good heads on their shoulders."

I looked at the captured paladins and inquisitors, a thoughtful expression on my face.

Then an idea came to my mind. A wonderful, wicked idea that would be a perfect follow-up to the psychological attack. An idea that would not only break their faith but also give them... pleasure.

"Eir," I said, my voice a low, seductive murmur. "Lock the prisoners up, and separate them into groups of one hundred."

"Groups of one hundred?" Eir repeated, her silver eyebrows raised in curiosity. "Is there a reason for that, Mother?"

"Of course there is," I said, a mischievous glint in my red eyes. "I have a special... lesson... planned for them. A very... intimate lesson."

"Oh?" Eir's lips curled into a knowing smile. "An intimate lesson? Should I be jealous?"

"You should be honored to be a witness," I said, my hand gently caressing her cheek. "I want you to go back and bring all your horny sisters, especially the succubi."

"As you wish, Mother." Eir's eyes lit up with excitement. "This is going to be fun."

She left, her white wings beating a steady, eager rhythm. I turned to the others, commanding.

"Take all the supplies from the base, all the weapons, all the armor, anything useful. Then burn this place to the ground."

"YES, MOTHER!" The Harbingers of Silence responded in unison, their voices a deep, resonant hum that vibrated through the very air.

As they moved to carry out my orders, my Valkyrie daughters transported the captured humans to a place I prepared for them, a large, underground prison with multiple cells. The cells were not like normal cells, with iron bars and stone walls. They were more like... rooms.

Each cell was a comfortable, luxurious room, with a soft bed, a clean bath, and a table laden with delicious food and fine wine. The only thing that was missing was a door.

The prison itself was enchanted with powerful spells to prevent escape, to block all forms of communication, and to keep the prisoners docile and compliant.

And of course, we can't forget about pleasure spells, designed to heighten their senses, to lower their inhibitions, and to make them... susceptible to suggestion.

"Strip them all and lock them up against the wall," I ordered, my gaze sweeping over the unconscious paladins and inquisitors.

My daughters moved with an efficient, almost detached precision, divesting the holy warriors of their ceremonial armor and undergarments.

Unfortunately, the entire army only had men. Not a single woman was in their ranks, which was a shame. I would have loved to have some fun with the female inquisitors.

A few hours later, the base was a smoldering ruin, and all the prisoners were secured in their new "rooms". The food, the wine, the beds... all of them were laced with a special aphrodisiac, a powerful concoction of my own creation. It wouldn't force them to do anything against their will, but it would certainly... lower their resistance.

I had a perfect view of all the cells through a series of magical windows, allowing me to observe them without being seen.

"Mother," I've brought them," Eir announced, her voice filled with a barely suppressed excitement.

Behind her stood a group of my daughters, a beautiful and deadly assortment of my children. There were the succubi, with their luscious curves, their hypnotic eyes, and their tails that swished with a life of their own. There were the arachne, their upper bodies those of stunning women, their lower bodies those of giant, graceful spiders.

Nayssa, my first arachne daughter, came with them too. Her long, slender legs were clad in black chitin, her multiple red eyes blinking in the dim light of the corridor. This was her first time outside my land.

Behind the cute spider girls, the rest of my lovely daughters filed in, a diverse and stunning collection of feminine power and predatory grace.

Wolf-kin, fox-kin, cowgirls, centaurs, minotaurs, and more. All of them were my children, all of them were loyal to me, and all of them were eager to please their mother.

"Alright, girls," I said, my lips curling into a mischievous grin. "The rules are simple."

I turned to face them, my expression serious yet playful.

"No killing. No permanent harm. No forced transformation. And no drinking their soul... too much."

"Ehh!!!... Mother!"

A few of the succubi pouted at that last rule, but they nodded in understanding.

"Other than that," I continued, my voice dropping to a seductive murmur. "You are free to... play. To teach these misguided men the error of their ways. To show them the pleasures of serving a true goddess."

I looked at the magical windows, at the unconscious paladins and inquisitors, their naked bodies glistening with a sheen of sweat. The aphrodisiac was starting to take effect. A faint flush was spreading across their chests, their breathing becoming a little heavier.

"Remember," I said, my eyes gleaming with a dark, predatory light. "The goal is not just to break their bodies, but to shatter their faith. To make them beg for a taste of our 'darkness'. To make them forget all about their 'holy' goddess."

"Now.... let the 'lesson' begin."
