"Hands of the Dead!" Luke screamed, before he heard a loud explosion-like noise. In the distance, the Spectral and Luke saw a mountain with smoke coming from it, caused by the explosion. They saw what seemed to be a middle-aged man. He was too far to identify his characteristics.
While the Spectral was caught off guard, Luke seized the opportunity and threw a mean right hook, launching the beast a fair distance. "SUCK ON THAT!!" Luke sneered, feeling a brief moment of triumph.
My 'Hands of the Dead' allows me to nullify anyone's ability that I touch. However, this can only be effective for 5-10 seconds at best, not giving me much time to do any major damage, Luke thought, realizing the limitations of his newfound power.
The Spectral slowly stood up, confused as to why its wound wasn't healing. "Is something wrong with my body? My healing ability is proving to be insufficient," it muttered, examining itself with a mix of frustration and disbelief.
The Spectral couldn't help but wonder what that man was doing falling from the mountain, so it looked back. Catching the Spectral off guard again, Luke performed a series of rapid punches and kicks, each strike landing with precision and force.
"The Spectral has the ability to learn new things, but inside, he's stupid!" Luke said, pointing out the fact that the Spectral had been caught off guard over something so pointless. This observation fueled his confidence as he continued his assault.
"How… how dare you!! I am no mere child; I am an intellectual god!!" The Spectral screamed, its voice reverberating through the area, stunning everything in the vicinity. The force of its scream shook Luke to his core, making him momentarily falter.
While Luke was shaken down to his core, the Spectral firmly said, "Sacred Ability: Forbidden Enter." Suddenly, a large barrier started to form around Luke and the Spectral, trapping them inside.
Luke's eyes adjusted to the domain around him, observing its interior. He was in a white room that looked like it never ended. There were four white pillars surrounding them in a 2x2 grid. In the furthest two pillars, there were a set of white stairs in between them. The stairs stood at a whopping 20 meters tall. Beyond the stairs lurked a white, shiny passageway.
Rule 1: The Sacred Ability's user has 3x more strength, stamina, speed, and durability.
Rule 2: The user can form mutations in living organism's bodies.
Rule 3: The white set of stairs leads to the exit.
Rule 4: You must escape before the timer runs out.
Rule 5: You have 5 minutes.
"T-This Sacred Ability!" Luke exclaimed, realizing the dire circumstances he was in. The Spectral stood before Luke, looming over him with an ominous presence. "Welcome in," it spoke, its voice dripping with malice.
Suddenly, Luke's hand started to mutate and produce pus. "W-What the fuck?" Luke said, clearly weirded out by the grotesque transformation before him. The mutation started to spread up his arm, threatening to overtake his entire body.
"FUCK!!" Luke screamed, using his free hand to chop off his mutated hand. The pain was excruciating, but he knew it was necessary to stop the spread. "I can heal it," Luke said, his eyes glowing with a fiery determination.
