Mr Hintata wasn't Mondo. He acted like Mondo, but he didn't have the strength or presence to back it up. He was obviously disrespecting me, flirting with my wife, but he didn't have the looks or the strength to back up his actions. In other words, this guy was suicidal.
He walked down my driveway, polluting it with its presence. I watched. Even as Sylvie left my side and went back into the house, I stayed in the doorway, watching Mr Hinata leave in silence. Only one thought ran through my mind — I had to do something.
I was afraid of confrontation but at the same time, this guy wasn't Mondo. He was skinny and weak.
I know looks can be decieving. I can't stand up to him, how could I possibly stand up to anyone?! But this guy doesn't seem very complicated. I had correctly assumed he was a slimy piece of shit. It's also likely he's a wuss who can't defend himself, either.
