Sylas' eyes narrowed when he heard the knock on his door. Logically speaking, let alone knocking, no one should even be able to find his room.
The way this hotel was set up was quite fascinating. It was curious. While those on the outside were so open with their sexuality, those on the inside were so much more…
Reserved.
The rooms were practically hovering in their own separate laws of spacetime. The only way to make it here was for Sylas to let them to the door or for some sort of admin to be involved.
He hadn't ordered anything and there was no casual room service in a place like this. They weren't mortals any longer, and the usual services didn't work the way one would be used to on Earth.
It just wasn't quite… adding up.
Still, Sylas stood.
His senses shouldn't have been able to peek through the door, but the ways spacetime limited others no longer applied to him. He found a familiar woman standing there and he paused for a moment.
