The calculations were complicated—as complex as one might imagine them being for a guild of Rune Masters—but the formula ultimately worked out to at least ten times the original.
That meant that the moment Sylas slapped down that last palm, he should have had over a hundred million Merits.
Yet, in the end, by the time he stepped out, he was left with only a million.
It could be said that a million Merits was still a shocking number. Across the course of the F-tier, even the best would be lucky to accumulate around a tenth of that, maybe two-tenths if they were truly exceptional.
Malikhi himself, on his first run as an F-tier, was still shy of 300,000 Merits by the time he was ready to cross over into the E-tier.
