Sylas vanished in a flicker of lightning, closing in on Wenrii so fast it seemed as though he had teleported there.
In these three months, it would be foolish to think that Sylas hadn't improved even more. His speed of ascent was far greater than most could fathom.
While he had struggled with Tiere before, the Sylas of right now wouldn't let her last to a second exchange. These two might be far stronger than their deceased junior… but so was he.
Wenrii seemed to be ready for Sylas, but he instantly parlayed [Glassvolt Shift] into [Primal Step]. For a straightforward bolt of lightning, his steps became meandering and hard to follow, drifting from side to side, almost dull in some ways, and then suddenly sharp.
A fist ripped through Wenrii's armor, rotating Space Runes forming around Sylas' wrist. It felt for a moment like his punch carried the weight and pull of a black hole, making Wenrii's former suction almost look like a joke.
