"What is it?" Sylas asked, looking at Jala. He could feel that the two had something to say, so after he finished making sure that everything was set with the Hollow Wing, he began to pay more attention to them.
"You look like shit," was Alex's first reply. "Which beauty did you piss off this time?"
Sylas didn't respond. Even if Alex had accidentally stumbled into the real reason, he had no intention of explaining all of that. He still hadn't quite decided how or if he should break the news of what happened to Cassarae or not.
Well, he in all likelihood would. But that would be a mountain to climb another day.
"Holy shit, you really did go and piss one off," Alex started laughing, clapping a hand on Sylas' shoulder. "I didn't know you had it in you. Now tell me, how's a Demoness taste?"
