BALCROFT
Eleven months later.
On the streets of Balcroft, there're some burnt-out and cracked buildings, which are yet to be demolished or repaired since the attack.
Although the people of Gilmorsh and the witches failed to capture or conquer the kingdom, they left enough ruins that left the people mourning for months. The war is over, but the silence that replaced the screams is far more chilling, as the kingdom now lives under a new, heavier darkness; the shadow of its king, Aidan.
In the courtroom
King Aidan sits on his throne, which now has a heavy carved creature on its side that none could identify. His face is stoic, distant, with a hint of brutality in his eyes.
Since the massacre occurred months ago, he has never smiled nor laughed. He simply exists in his own kingdom ruling with strong hands.
The air in the room is thick with tension. Sir James and another old man stand before the council, their backs straight and their faces pale.
