THE VENINE TEMPLE
Hera sits on the floor in a room with a book before her. She mutters some words and lights some incense before her, flipping a page in the book.
A knock is heard before the door opens to reveal Kayden.
Hera casts him a glance, ignores him and flips another page in the book.
"I was restricted from entering Griselda's room, why is that if I may ask?" Kayden asks walking forward to stand before her.
"And for what reason do you wish to see her?" Hera asks quietly, not casting him a glance.
"I need to give you a reason to see Zelda?" Kayden asks.
Hera closes the book and slowly stands to face him.
"It's 'mistress' to you. You don't dare address her like you both share some relationship or are equal in hierarchy."
Kayden scoffs.
"That's nonsense. Zelda is close to me, if there's anyone who's meant to be with her at this crucial point, it's me!" Kayden thunders.
"And we saw how that played out earlier, didn't we?" She asks in mock.
