Chapter 5 - Rouge

Nile could not wait to rip off Ethan's head back in the Moonshadow pack. Looking at the happy couple, he felt angry and sorry for his sister. The woman beside Ethan could have been his sister if not for the wrecker- Thea. On top of that, he was ashamed of his parents.

"Nile, go and curry favour with the Alpha. Don't stand here like a statue." Lora Rolf urged Nile.

"Mom, aren't you ashamed?" Nile looked at his mother. She had no remorse on her face.

"She is in a better place. This sacrifice is for you. Don't let your sister's sacrifice go in vain. Ok?" To Lora, Isabella was nothing more than a burden. Though she sometimes felt bad for giving birth to her.

"MOM! You and Dad sold her to a Rogue Alpha. A FUCKING ROGUE! Do you even have the slightest bit of a hint what will happen to her there?" Nile whispered and yelled at his mother. He had had enough of his parents.

"Nile, listen to Mom. Look at your father, working hard for the family. Forget Isabella. How she lives and what happens to her is not of our concern anymore." Lora furrowed her eyebrows and nudged Nile. She was sure that Nile would return to normal after a few days.

"I am sick of all the pack members." Nile left the pack house, ignoring his mother's pleading.

Thea, who was proudly sitting beside Ethan, noticed the commotion between the mother and the son.

"Ethan?" Thea called out in a pitiful voice.

"What happened, my love? Isabella is gone, so why are you not happy?" Ethan noticed the tears gathering in her eyes and instantly became wary.

"I think Isabella's brother is not happy. Earlier, I saw him arguing with his mother." Thea sighed and faked concern. In her heart, she was more than happy to eliminate the Rolf family.

"He will be fine. Ignore him." Ethan comforted Thea before engaging with the elders of the pack.

'I won't let your stupid brother bring you back, Isabella.' Thea clenched her fist. To her, Isabella was the only obstacle in her way. Now that she had removed her, no one could stand in her way to become the Luna of the Moonshadow pack.

Where the Moonshadow pack was celebrating for finding their Luna, the Rogues on the outskirts were facing a problem.

"Why isn't she waking up?" Damien interrogated the doctor.

"Alpha, she is under stress, and her body is weak. It would take her more than 2 hours to gain consciousness." The doctor lowered his head and answered as sweat dripped down from his side burns.

"Leave!" Damien commanded. The doctor didn't bat an eye and left the room in haste.

Damien looked at the fragile girl on the bed with furrowed brows. His sharp, eagle eyes had worry written in them.

"Soon," Damien muttered to himself and left the room. He went straight to his study.

"Alpha!" A man with curly hair and green eyes greeted Damien. He had an unruly vibe surrounding him.

"Jasper, gather all the rogues. In two days, we will announce the news." Damien swirled the globe on his study table.

"Are you in a haste because of that little girl?" Jasper smirked. He had heard from the guards and other werewolves how their Alpha had been swayed by a girl he had brought from the enemy pack.

"Not just any girl. She is your Luna, Jasper." Damien's voice turned hard. There was a golden glint in his eyes.

"Okay! Okay! She is our Luna. Don't need to be over-protective." Jasper raised his arms in surrender, but he couldn't wipe off the smirk.

"By the way, Damien, are you certain it's her? Don't get me wrong, buddy. You know what she's truly capable of." Jasper's expression turned serious, his green eyes scrutinizing Isabella. Her body was frail, with bony hands and little to no flesh. Dark circles had formed around her eyes.

"Her powers are weak. Something is blocking her memories, even Drakon cannot reach her wolf." Damien tried hard to break the wall, but something more powerful was there, powerful enough to push him.

"Might be someone from the moonshadow pack?" Jasper thought of the sleazy Alpha who had ruled for decades and now was resting in the human realm.

"No. He does not have the power to block me. It's someone else hiding in the shadows. We have to protect Isabella until we find the mastermind behind all the past events and who is controlling her." Damien had his suspicions, but it was not the time to dive deeper.

"Jasper, check all the borders, increase the security, and when it is the time of the full moon, there will be a big surprise," Damien smirked. It was time to teach the Moonshadow pack a good lesson.

"On it, Alpha. I will leave with your Luna." Jasper winked at Damien and left the room.

Damien walked to the window and gazed outside. His people were there, working hard to build a new pack with him. It was now his turn to give them the strength and a home to live with honour.

"We are back, and I won't let those people go unscathed." Damien still remembers the day his family and pack were burned down to ashes. He was too weak to fight back then but not anymore. No one can match up to him except for her.
