In the Savannah region, inside the forest of Grandia, five people dressed in dark attire and their faces covered with hoods were meeting.
Having received orders from the higher-ups, they were tasked with locating the cursed sword and finding out more about its current wielder.
Among the five present, four of them wore black hoods while one wore a red hood. The man in the red hood spoke in a cold tone.
"Lord Black Mist has ordered us to gather intel on the recent energy signature from the cursed sword. This mission is to be completed as discreetly as possible. Any witnesses or people we contact need to be eliminated. Spread out."
All four subordinates placed their hands in front of their chests as a symbol of acceptance and bowed before disappearing into dark mist. Only the man in the red hood stayed in place. He did not disappear or teleport. Instead, he walked at a normal pace and headed toward the first area of his investigation.
