Chapter One Hundred Ninety-Four:
Underworld
Gates of Hell
When we got back to the river Angel Leif was already there waiting, so Rishna and I immediately boarded the boat. She and Navina had already talked in depth and now Navina had just delivered Rishna there as a last farewell. I don't know what they talked about but something has changed with Rishna and it seems a positive one.
I'm happy to know that Rishna and Navina had a good conversation. And I'm also happy because the long-standing curse attached to the two clans is finally over. Their Vampire status will finally end when Medea finally do the last thing to free them all from the curse. And whatever it is, I hope it really end.
"Alright!" Suddenly God Nayak speaks up that breaks the silence. "We can also now return to the living world." He excitedly said.
"I will not be with you on your return." God Folkvar said.
"Oh, you're right! So, what do you intend to do with your power?"
"For now, I will return it to my guardians once again."
"Is that your final decision?"
"Yes. The reason I accepted my powers again was because of Manu's soul. Now that his soul was back, I already decided to return it back to my guardians."
"Well," he shrugs. "That's your decision, anyway let's go!" He said and hops in to the boat.
"Haimon." I reached my hand to him and he also reaches his hand to me but even though we weren't holding, Angel Leif stopped him right away.
"What?!" We both asked in surprised.
"You cannot ride the boat." Suddenly Angel Leif blocks Haimon. "You can never go back to the living world."
His last sentence breaks my heart into pieces.
"What are you talking about?!" I asked as I grabbed his black coat. "Let him ride!" I ordered.
"He cannot."
"No!" I screamed.
"Shu!" Rishna immediately pulled me away from Angel Leif.
"Angel Leif, what do you mean he can never go back to the living world?"
"You heard it right, God Nayak. He can never go back to the living world because he's already dead."
"What!"
"Nooo!"
"Shu!" Haimon was about to go to the boat but suddenly the King of Hell pops in to his way. "King of Hell?!"
"You cannot go back, Haimon." He announced.
None of us could react to what the King of Hell said. Until I suddenly felt that the boat begins to move.
"No! What are you doing?! Let me out! Haimon!" I try to jump out of the boat but Rishna holds me tight. "Let me go, Rishna! Let me go! Please!" I pleaded as I try to reach out at the dock where Haimon was also trying to reach out on me.
"Shu!" He called but the King of Hell block his way and all he could do is call out my name as our boat sail back from where we begin.
"Nooo!"
…
The boat on which Shu Tokino was on has long left and until now I still can't believe what happened to my earthly body.
"What happened?! Why did I die?! You all said to us that I will be safe if a virgin takes Manu's soul?! So, what happened?! Why, isn't Navina a virgin?! Wh-what happened?!" I asked a series of questions mixed with emotions because of what I've learned.
"Haimon," God Folkvar approaches me. "You need to calm down."
"Calm down?! What are you talking about?! At this moment do you really think I can calm down just like that?!" I furiously replied.
"He was right." Suddenly the King of Hell answered. "And he has a right to be angry because of the unexpected event."
"So, you have indeed spoken to the God of Knowledge."
The God of Knowledge or Wisdom, the only God that resides at the upper level of the Heaven's Realm, the God that knows about the past, present and future. The seen and the unseen events, the only one who has a very clear vision of everything that happened, happening and will happen he is the God that the King of Hell needs to talk.
"Yes. And you were right about your gut feeling. Khawar send someone that will kill Haimon."
"What are you talking about?!" I interrupted them.
"Khawar send his little minion to kill your earthly body."
"But why?"
"Because he had known for a long time, what God Folkvar had done to hide Manu's soul and he knew about it because he also had the ability to see the future. Although, that thoroughly clear but still he can use that little ability to get a chance to step forward without us knowing anything about it."
I was surprised by what the King of Hell explained but I was even more surprised because it was obvious from their looks that they also did not expect what Khawar did.
"And who killed Haimon?" Suddenly Goddess Vive came unnoticed.
"Joker, the doll."
…
"Let me go!" I screamed as I struggle to free myself out of Rishna and Sai's hands.
"Shu!" It was Wafi. "Will you please calm down? We have nothing to solve if you do that."
"No! I will not leave Haimon here!"
"Then, what! Are you ready to die?!" It was Galdur that speaks seriously.
"Yes! Let me die now!" I shouted.
"Galdur!" Rishna scolded him.
"Alright," he sighed. "Sopor altus." He casted a spell and before I could react, I suddenly feel light headed until my visions turn dark.
…
Unknown…
"Maradana ok an nga tingdapag ng kinga waluluka." Kanik calmly said.
"Kanik…"
"Call me Hunapo, Aella." He said while looking through her eyes. "I am so happy now because this is the last time you will be with me."
"So, you knew."
"Yes. And I am glad that you were the one that will…" he stops when a bright light came and embraces him with warm and care.
"Ka—Hunapo." Medea immediately holds his hands. "Are you back?"
Kanik's eyes slowly open and everything begins to end.
