Chapter 179 - The Gates of Hell

Chapter One Hundred Seventy-Nine:

Underworld

"Because I have another role to play, so, please save Manu's soul immediately, because only that will save us all."

We have been sailing for a long time but what Ansel said is already stuck in my mind. I then felt that he was implying something else in what he said that I was very suspicious of. I couldn't calm down because of that and I felt something bad was going to happen but I knew it wasn't about me.

Haimon suddenly entered my mind because I felt like he was hiding something from me before we separated earlier. And I don't like how I feel because I know what I feel is correct. Yet, I don't know what is it but I am so sure, Haimon did something without my knowledge.

"What are you thinking?" suddenly Rishna cuts off my thought.

"Huh?"

"I noticed that you're thinking deeply." She replied. "So, what are you thinking? Or are you afraid of meeting the King of Hell?"

I don't want her to know how I really feel so I'll just choose to lie. "Yeah, you were right. I am afraid of meeting him."

"Then you should not," Navina answered. "Because you've already faced him before although it was your past self still you'll remember it as soon as you meet him. And since, you entrusted him to keep Manu's soul, you can't help but face him once again."

"She was right," Rishna agreed. "So, you just better be ready and gather all your courage so that when you face the King of Hell you will have no more fear and worries." She added that I just nodded in silence while my mind is still on Haimon.

Meanwhile…

I just silently stared at the place where the boat that Shu Tokino was riding was completely gone. I know it's wrong for me to keep a secret from her but this is the only thing I can do to save her.

"Are you ready?" Ansel asked me that cuts off my thought.

Without turning I answered. "Yes. I'm ready."

"Then, good because they are coming," he announced that made me to turn to look at him.

"If so, let's get started." I answered with full of determination.

Gates of Hell

"Here we are." Angel Leif announces.

We were staring at the front of a large and wide gate as if there was no limit to the height of it because no matter how I look up, I couldn't find the end of it. That's why, I'm sure that there is no end to this gate and entering it will not be easy the same as you want to exit to it.

"Let's go." Rishna said that I just silently followed.

We quietly made our way to the very entrance of the Gates of Hell and since Angel Leif's only role was to bring us here, when we got off the boat he immediately left us completely. Then as we walk, I didn't expect the distance that we take because I felt very tired when we reached the end of the road and I was surprised when I saw a large animal guarding right at the gate.

"Wh-what was that?!" I surprisingly asked Rishna and Navina.

"The only creature that guards the Gates of Hell, Cerberus the three headed dog of the underworld," Rishna answered that explain everything.

"Then, how do we get through the gate if that creature is there?" I nervously asked and even though it wasn't moving, it just quietly staring at us so I knew any moment this big dog would attack us.

"You have nothing to worry about." Suddenly a familiar person speaks up and then he suddenly emerged out of the dark.

"You!" I exclaimed.

"Yes, it's me." God Nayak suddenly came.

"But you were with Ansel." I surprisingly answered.

"As I told you earlier, I'm the God of Guide and going through the Gates of Hell is also my duty to guide those souls to enter here." he explained. "And don't worry about Cerberus because you don't have to pass his test because the King has already told him your situation. So, you three can freely pass through."

Rishna and Navina look at each other that I just quietly watched them before Rishna answered.

"If that is the case, then, guide us to your King."

"Then, let's go." He answered and led the way.

Khawar's attack on him was too strong and with the excessive force, his body was thrown at the stone, and the stone was almost crushed, causing him to vomit blood because of it.

While I had no choice but to watch the two of them because he had already managed to imprison me in a prison that I couldn't break no matter what I did.

"Ansel!" I called out his attention and he seems fine as he stands up and cleans up himself.

"You're still not fading Folkvar." Khawar said as he landed on the ground. "You still don't care about my attacks."

"Of course." Ansel answered with a smirk. "Dinghin-dihin om koa taypapama hitka an nonga godsupag nga winga om as kina."

"As I expected, yani ang nga gotsasai om as kina." He answered and before Ansel can answer he suddenly came to my front and I suddenly scream in pain.

"No!" Ansel try to stop him and approached Khawar but he just brushes him off and was thrown away.

"Let us see! What can you do if I completely kill the bait you made?" He seriously asked as I keep on suffering from the pain I feel right now.

I suddenly stopped and turned to where we came from. We had already entered the gate but for some reason I didn't understand this feeling, I suddenly feel very nervous. I can't explain it and without noticing it, I just suddenly touch my chest because I can feel the intensity of my heart's beating that even if I'm just a spirit I can still feel it.
