Chapter 157 - 'Goodbye'

Chapter One Hundred Fifty-Seven:

Merwa Mountain

"Siara saved all of you?" I surprisingly asked.

"Yes, she was the one that saved us. And the crystals you see here, from there she placed us to protect not only our bodies but also our memories." Navina answered.

"If so, the reason why you know Manu's reincarnation is because Siara keeps those memories with you?"

"Yes." Rishna answered. "To cut the story short, Siara finally broke the Azaba Jar and the ability of that jar she translated into crystal where we remained safe with our memories. And now that Kanik was on the move, any soon he will finally remember."

"Then, how can I save my wife."

"As what Sai told you, you need to enter her consciousness."

"But that is too risky."

"We all know. But we can't do anything about it because Kanik himself was able to enter Shu Tokino's consciousness. Now all we need to do is counter his attack and save Shu Tokino before her body worsens."

I look at my wife for a longer time before I decided. "Alright, I'll take the risk. I'll go to her consciousness."

Through the Darkness

All of a sudden, a black cloud formed around him and as he said he gradually disappeared until a small creature that looked like a shadow took its place.

"Greetings my Lord." He spoke. "I am Ozul your trustworthy shadow minion."

"My trustworthy shadow minion, really? Then, can you tell me who the guy before you? What was his name again?"

"Kieran my Lord." He answered.

"Yeah! That was his name! So, tell me. Who is he really?"

"He was your brother, your other half."

"What! Nonsense!" I madly shouted. "How can you say he is my brother when I am an only child? Are you trying to deceived me just like what that guy did?!"

"No, my Lord. Because what we told is the truth. And if you want to know the whole truth, I will show you because that is the reason why I am created."

"Then show me!"

Merwa Mountain

"We need to hurry before it is too late." Rishna said as she placed herself at the head of Shu Tokino while Navina was over my head.

Now Shu Tokino and I are both lying on the stone bed and just waiting for what they will do.

"Are you ready?" Navina asked me.

"Yes."

"Close your eyes and we will begin."

I do as she told and then I heard them chant a spell before silence came. When I open my eyes, I saw myself in a white plain.

"Navina! Rishna!" I called but no one answered. So, I looked all around and I walked slowly. Honestly, I don't know where I'm going but I only have one thing on my mind to find Shu Tokino into this plain.

Without any direction, I walk into a straight path even though the path isn't visible I just knew there was a path and I just followed it in silence with the hope that in the end, I'll find Shu Tokino, until I finally found her.

"Shu!" I called and run to her. When I saw her up close, she looked almost very different and I knew that was because of the poison given by Kanik. "No!" I immediately lifted her and tried several times to wake her up but nothing happened. And I feel like I am losing all my hope as I continue watching her as she slowly worsens.

"You need to bite her the same way Kanik did." Suddenly a very familiar voice speaks to me.

I slowly raised my head just to be surprised at what I saw. "Si-Siara?"

"How are you Haimon?" she said and smiled.

"How…"

"To cut the story short, it's the ultimate power I can use so here I am. I am here to save Shu Tokino but also to save you."

"Siara…" I don't know what to say but all I can do is just to look at her.

"I understand what you feel but right now, you need to bite her before the poison spread out to her earthly body. Because I knew she couldn't handle the poison as soon as it will devour her."

"But." I look down to Shu Tokino.

"Bite her on her left wrist and there give her your blood like Kanik did. And everything will turn back to normal once your blood runs to her spirit." Siara explained.

"If that is the only way to save her then, I'll do it." I said and take her left wrist but before I bite her, I look back to Siara. "I'm sor––"

"Don't say that." She said that cuts me off. "I knew it all you loved me until I was gone. And right now, the most important thing is her. The woman that you love the most is no other than Shu Tokino. So, save her before it is too late."

"Thank you." I answered. "And I'm glad to see you again."

"I'm glad to see you too." She said before she slowly vanished. "And I think this is it! I didn't tell you this when we were together until my last breath but now, I can tell. Goodbye Haimon."

I was surprised by what she said because she hadn't really said goodbye to me before. Because the last word she said to me before she finally lost her life was, 'I'm sorry for letting you do this thing, my Love.' And I know exactly what she means and now this is the first and I wanted to say it too.

"Goodbye Siara." I replied before Siara totally vanished. I felt sad the second time but the sadness I felt then is very different now. Now that she's gone, I focus myself back to Shu Tokino, as what Siara told me, I bite Shu Tokino's left wrist.

Into Paradise

"Wait!" I called Siara as soon as I finally remember what happened between me and Kanik.

"You'll be safe now. Goodbye Shu Tokino."
