Chapter One Hundred-Twenty-Three:

Manu Kingdom

Manu Palace

"You need to finish Haimon as soon as possible. That way, we can prevent them to know the truth."

"And what is that truth, Father." I suddenly barge in to my father's room as soon as I heard them talking.

"Siara!" my father quickly comes to my side and push me in to his room before checking the outside and soon it was clear, he came back to face me. "Damon, leave us alone."

"Yes, my Sire."

"What are you doing here?" he asked me after we're left alone.

"What truth are you trying to hide that you need to kill Haimon?" I horrifically asked him.

"You don't need to know!" he firmly stated. "And from now on, you are not allowed to come out without anyone by your side!"

"Is that an order?"

"Yes! And as your King, I command you to stay right where you are!"

I couldn't believe him, why would he need to do that and, oh no! Don't tell me, "Is it about my blood?" I stated it clearly and the looks of my father's face tell it all. "So, it really is!"

He suddenly grabs my shoulders and looks at me straight in the eye. "What did you just say?!"

"I already knew about it, Father. That my blood is the only cure of this curse that we all had, the curse that will free everyone souls of Manu Vampires."

My father looks at me terrified. "No! How did you find out about that thing?! Who told you about it?! Tell me!"

"No one." I honestly replied. "I just learned it by myself when I accidentally cut myself and when my blood drops on the floor, Haimon smells it…" and he even taste it. I silently added to myself.

"What!"

"Ahh!" I was hurt when he suddenly gripped my shoulders so tight. "Father!"

"You let him taste your blood!"

"No!"

"Yes, you do! I could sense it even if you hide it, he already tasted it and the more he needs to be killed!"

"No!"

"You couldn't do anything to stop me! Now! I'll lock you up to your room!"

"Nooo!" I try to run but he's too strong I couldn't escape out from his grip and I suddenly found myself lock to my room for only a second. "Father! Let me out!" I cried out but he didn't listen until I heard Wei's voice. "Wei! Help me!"

"My Lady," Wei answered.

"Wei, help me out! Please!" I begged.

"I'm so sorry, my Lady. But I couldn't do anything. I'm so sorry."

"Wei, from now on, you are not allowed to come near my daughter. Ever again!" I heard my father said. "And you two, guard this place and don't let anyone to come closer to this door, understood?!"

"Yes, my King!"

"No! Father!" I cried out but he didn't listen and just let me lock inside my room. Oh, no! Haimon! I try to check the window but the widows were already been sealed by the Witches and I couldn't do anything to open it.

Ah, darn it! What should I do now! What!

Hours ago…

Edelweiss Kingdom

Del Gazini's Residence

I was almost restless a few hours later because until now my wife still doesn't come out of the bathroom. I almost prevented myself from letting me to enter the bathroom and I enabled almost all my senses just to make sure Siara was fine. Yet I couldn't take it anymore, so I decided to let myself in because I could hear nothing inside but only the murmur of water. That is why I approach the doorknob and was about to open it when it suddenly moves and the door opens.

"Siara!" I surprisingly said while keep looking at her.

"Haimon, what are you doing?" she asked me clueless of what I truly feel.

"I'm… are you alright?" I worriedly asked her and I quickly get closer to her and hold her.

"Ye-yes. I'm fine." She answered as she blinks her eyes.

I couldn't understand why I felt so nervous at these times but I immediately hugged her tightly. I know I surprised her but I just couldn't stop myself not to feel her and this is enough for me to feel secured.

"Love?" I heard Siara's voice that was lying at my chest. All night long we made love and even if my mind was too occupied with our love making, I still can't get my mind off what is happening to my wife. "Are you alright?" she asked me that cuts off my thought.

I smiled. "Yes."

"But I feel like something is bothering you?"

I take a deep sighed. "Yes, there is something bothering me."

"And what is it?" she lifts up her head to look up and meet my eyes. "Love, what's wrong? Tell me?"

"I'm worried about you." I honestly answered.

"Oh, don't tell me it is all about the memories that I had lost?"

"Yes, it is." I honestly answered. "I feel like something bad is happening to you and that's something I'm worried about because no one knows why that thing is happening to you." I added and she suddenly grasps my face with her hands and spoke.

"Love," I look at her into her eyes. "You have nothing to worry about because I will be fine. Lady Sybil will help me to be cure, alright?"

It took me long before I could answer. "Indeed. You'll be fine." I said and hug her tightly and she hugs me back. "I love you so, so much, Siara my love."

"And I love you more, my only love Haimon."

"Wei."

"Oh, God! Sai! What are you doing here?" she surprisingly asked after Sai wakes her up.

"I'm so sorry." She said before sitting to her bed. "I'm here to give you something."

"And what is it that you disturbed me in the middle of the night?"

"Here. Take this."

"What--"

"Don't ask just take it Lady Siara will need that."
