Chapter 97 - IDK

Ninety-Seven:

Aylin Realm

Now that I'm conscious, questions begin to circulate into my head. What happened to me five days ago? And who was the man standing right in front of me? As if, he is some kind of a powerful one yet, I couldn't remember anything about him. Why?

"This is… amazing!" suddenly I heard Asim excitedly blurted out loud that made me to look back at him.

"What is it?" I curiously asked.

"Jeanne, she's calling me for five days and this is the first time I can finally be summoned."

"What do you mean?"

"You see, as I told you earlier. Someone took the anchor away from Epiales and that's the reason why I am trap here in this realm and the same goes to Epiales."

"You two are trap in here?"

"Indeed. And we don't know who trapped us and eventually after you regain your consciousness, Epiales became my anchor once again. So, I can go back now to the Dream World, freely."

"Wait! What about Jeanne? Why she's trying to summon you?"

"That I don't know. Or maybe because of what happened to her when she was trapped into the oblivion? Maybe that's the reason why."

"I hope it isn–– ahhh!" I suddenly feel pain when a glimpse of a memory suddenly passed by.

"Almos!" Asim quickly went to my side. "Hey! Are you alright?!"

"I… I'm fine." I answered between my breaths.

"Are you sure? Because as I look at you, your face is so pale and I don't think––"

"Stop!" I said. "Just… go! Jeanne needs you."

"But…"

"No buts… just go!" I don't know why I'm pushing Asim away even though the truth, I don't feel so well for a reason I couldn't explain. And even if I try harder to remember the things happened to me five days ago, I can't remember anything. Even if the glimpse I accidentally passed by through my mind gives me great pain, I couldn't stop myself to feel nausea.

What cause it? I don't know. And why I can't remember anything? I don't know. I really don't know any reason to it.

Unknown Place

'No Immortal can come close to her even in her dreams.'

Bellinor last words echoed through my mind and I couldn't help myself not to check it if he was telling the truth. That is why I decided to go to earth and see what would happen if we meet again.

"Bellinor," I called him as I stand up from my throne.

"Yes, my Lord?"

"Let's go to earth." I decided.

Present

Earth

"Seriously, you need to face Almos, because he's the only one who can help you."

Asim said that I don't want to do, so I strongly objected of it.

"No. Period, okay!" I firmly answered.

Asim deeply sigh before looking at me with those serious eyes. "You won't believe it."

"What is it?"

"Almos is sick."

I felt worried about Almos' condition and asked. "How is he? And what happened?"

"Before I left with Epiales, he looks so pale as if all the blood from his body suddenly stops flowing that made him looks so white. And to what happened to him? That can only be answer if the two of you will see each other again."

"Why me?"

"Because it all happened after saving you out of the oblivion," he answered.

"That is impossible." I said. "As soon as I arrived back on earth without his knowledge I––" I just suddenly stop myself when a glimpse of a memory suddenly shows up and see two man standing face to face with each other. I don't know who they are since the light was too bright it covered their faces though one thing is for sure, I know one of them.

"Jeanne!" Asim shakes me strongly and I'm surprised seeing him looking at me with fear in his eyes.

"Why?"

"Look around you where you brought us both." He commanded and curiously I did what he said and shocked after what I've learned.

"Oh, no! What! Why are we here?!" I asked still in shocked because we're at the middle of nowhere. A deserted place, where the sky couldn't be seen because of the thick fog causing the light to be block while the ground was covered with thick fine dust and the wind was too freezing it pins through your bones like a sharp needles that penetrates deep down to your body.

"Ahh!" a sharp pain suddenly enveloped through Asim.

"Asim!" I held him as he falls down to his knees. "What's wrong?!"

"I…" he was about to answer but then he suddenly scream in pain.

"No! Asim!"

"It looks like he's going to die." Suddenly an unfamiliar voice speaks near to us and when I look into it I was surprised seeing the man I saw five days ago.

"Wh-who are you?" I don't know but I have a hunch that I know who this man is.

He smiles at me, a devious and dangerous smile. "Five days ago, we should have met but then something happened even when I brought Almos with us, you we're still protected by a powerful shield. Not even Almos could break it."

'We've met five days ago? I-I don't know anything about it.'

"So, your memories where erase." He said it as a fact. "That's quite annoying. Well, I can help you with it." He was about to approach me however Asim quickly pulled me through his back to block him away from me.

"Stop!" he said between his breaths.

"Oh, the hero!" he said and before we knew it, suddenly Asim fall down on the ground unconscious that surprised me.

"Asim!" I called him many times but he was just suddenly fainted. "No! Wake up!"

"Nothing to worry my Lady, he will be fine. For now, we shall–– ahh!"

"Stay away from her." a mysterious voice suddenly speak up and when I look back memories from the five days ago suddenly comes back in a flash.
